Light, robust, simple and well-fitting if not a bit tight. I have a Schuberth C3, which is better made, but not by much. If you compare the N85 with the C3, the liner is better in the C3 and it just feels a little more robust. But the N85 is very close, and the integrated visor is far better than the C3's. The N85 is also much lighter, and the pin lock and visor is every bit as good as the C3's. The visor lock takes more attention to make sure its in right after removal for cleaning, than the C3. If I had to choose between the N85 and the C3 I'd go for the C3 but just barely, and if money is the deciding factor I'd go for the N85. Its become my favorite helmet. The N85 is an awesome helmet, and its "%100 Made In Italy" according to all sources I can find on the web.

Complete honesty: I love the gloves, and I hate that they are made in China. Held was one of the last strongholds for the Made In Germany legend - what happened? These gloves are not 'made in China' cheaply priced either, so what gives?
I would happily pay more for Made In Germany as the quality and attention to detail is just better, always.
Ok, that said, there must have been Germans around in the Chinese factory, because these gloves are really good. High-tech and light protection provided by the newest materials in a sensible and well-fitted way. They are comfortable, and waterproof just as claimed. Even today I rode in to work in gushing rain, dry hands.
The fit on the fingers is very good, very light and very comfortable.
This glove is a great Street, Touring and possibly off road glove, would not use it on the track though.
On the con side, the gauntlet is a bit short, but its not a major problem. Wish it were Kangaroo leather though, at the $150 price point I would have expected that.

I have the C3 and had that red-spot-of-pain-on-your-forehead problem. The local dealer tried to convince me that its a $700 problem - in other words, "you need a new helmet that is the new C3 model that fixes that problem."
This is a Schuberth authorized dealer...
They never mentioned that Schuberth makes a helmet liner for the C3 that fixes this exact problem. Bought it. Works. C3 is a great helmet, now it doesn't give me those headaches anymore.
Question is, why didn't the dealer know about this liner replacement? Thank god for Revzilla, saved me a ton of $$$.
