Forcefield Back Protector Pro Kevlar L2K The award winning and best-selling Forcefield Back Protector Pro L2 has evolved into the all new Pro L2K (Kevlar) and is now constructed using Kevlar thread for increased strength and durability. Kevlar has 5 times the tensile strength of steel along with high cut and abrasion resistance and ensures the strongest back protector available just got stronger! Combined with NitrexEvo a unique high-tech triangular shock absorbing material the Forcefield Pro L2K (Kevlar) back protector is designed to be soft, flexible and comfortable whilst still providing maximum impact protection and conforms to, and exceeds the CE test EN1621-22003 Level 2 the highest possible level. NitrexEvo provides Repeat Performance Technology (RPT) to ensure that even after multiple impacts there is no loss of protective performance and 3D moulds to closely fit the contours of the riders back creating the ultimate in all day comfort. The Pro L2K is constructed in multiple layers that are stitched and perforated in such a way as to allow partial movement of the inner layers. This movement has a dual purpose, to make the protector more comfortable by allowing it to mould to the body shape and to pump air through the multiple perforations to build up and ventilate between the back when in use. Fully adjustable shoulder straps and double waist adjustment ensure a correct fit for different body shapes and sizes. The ultimate all use motorcycle back protector from Forcefield Body Armour. Features CE Level 2 protection Cambridge Certified Repeat performance technology Comfortable and nonrestrictive Reassuringly solid yet slim-line fitting Multi-impact (will not lose its strength halfway through a crash) Breathable Lightweight Flexible Molds to your body shape Can be worn under outer clothing with ease Multi-sport back protector Fully adjustable for that perfect fit

Bought this for my first track day in the beginning of June in Florida and this back protector preformed flawlessly (minus a crash which I hope not to test). The airflow was perfect and the way it formed to my back made it feel as if it wasn't even on me. Can't go wrong with forcefield.
Yes, I recommend this product.

If you want a serious upgrade to any of the Joe Rocket foam armor, look no further. This is a serious upgrade to comfort and protection. Air flows through it really well and the padding on the inside conforms to your shoulder really well. The length of the armor covers more of the arm than the ones provided with the jacket. Can't go wrong with Forcefield!

Ok, I've had mine for just a couple of weeks. I'll start with the pros first.
Extremely light and comfortable.
Extremely quiet.
Great style! You'll get a lot of looks and compliments for sure.
Customer service is slightly slow and takes more of a shotgun approach to fixing things but really friendly.
Cons:
Durability, two screws fell out of the "Carbon" windows and the threads that are in the carbon fiber ended up missing. When I was going to send it back to Nexx for service, I found that the bottom seam wasn't even attached and was falling off. At this point I got fed up with it and decided to just send it back for a return. Too much trouble for the money, but if you're willing to pay the money and wait till Nexx sorts out the issues with your helmet, then it would be highly recommended. But in reality, just wait a couple years till they work out the kinks.
