Added the Race Lite chest protector to the Pro L2K back protector I already had to complete the ensemble. Construction is similar to the back protector, flows air just as well, and, most important, molds to your chest shape - you don't notice it after a few minutes riding. Fortunately, both protectors fit perfectly under my race leathers without adding excess bulk. (I am a size 42 chest and purchased the Medium protector.) Very pleased with the quality and fit & finish of Forcefield products - highly recommended.

I purchased this BackPad Insert Pro (medium) for a Dainese Zen-Evo size 52/42 jacket and it was too small in both length and width - it slid around inside the pocket. However, it fit perfectly in an older Dainese Trax size 52/42 jacket. Recommend measuring your jacket insert pocket and then ordering the appropriately sized protector and not necessarily the one labeled "for Dainese." Otherwise, this is an excellent product and, like other Forcefield protectors, is not really noticeable while riding and doesn't add appreciably to the weight of a leather jacket.

Have been very satisfied with two pairs of Held Steve touring gloves over the last 8 years, so I ordered these Akira-Evo gloves for track use with confidence. Kangaroo palms provide great feel on the grips, construction and finish is the high quality expected from Held, and the fit (size 8.5) is excellent - no break-in required. Armor is rugged, well-placed, and will (hopefully) save my hands if called upon. Excellent product and well worth the price.

First time purchasing a back protector and picked up this Forcefield Pro L2K based on a recommendation from a friend who uses one and is an experienced rider. I'm 5'10" and 185 lbs, so I ordered the Medium. While a little pricier than most, you get what you pay for - couldn't be happier with the quality, fit and finish. Fits perfectly under my Dainese Zen Evo size 52/42 jacket. It's light weight, form fitting, and frankly it 'disappears' when riding on the track - I don't even notice it. Hope I never have to test its CE Level 2 protection, but I have faith it will do the job. Excellent product.

Sizing
I wear a Size 9 in the Held Evo Thrux summer gloves. Was wondering if I should also get a 9 in the Held Freezer, or go up to a size 10 since it is a winter glove...? I've read that one should want more space in a winter glove to promote more heat and circulation. I've also noticed trying on Helds in the past that a size 9 in one model may differ from a size 9 in another model...I also have long fingers.
I've had two pair of Held Steve gloves, size 8.5, and was concerned about size differences between models, but found that the Akira-Evo in 8.5 fit exactly the same - which is to say just right. The only reason to get a larger size winter glove would be to allow for bulky under gloves. FWIW, though, I found that a thin pair of Under Armour liner gloves fit easily and comfortably under the Steve gloves.
