I used a regular Jansport backpack for my commute for years. It finally got just a bit too run down for my tastes so I decided to upgrade to a moto-specific pack.
Simply put, the strap/quad-loc system is amazing. The years of a regular backpack would wreck my back; the straps would dig into my shoulders and also keep all the weight on them. This pack doesn't; the weight is distributed evenly and it feels like you're not wearing anything at all.
The bag is highly, highly water-resistant and though I haven't been caught in a tropical monsoon, I've been in a fair share of rainstorms and the contents stayed safe and dry.
This R20 can hold a ton of stuff. I can keep my change of work clothes, shoes, extra visor, bottles of water, food, a book, my daily planner, and 14" laptop without even adjusting the straps. I can't imagine how much more room it has with the straps all the way expanded.
Overall, I'd give this bag a 9.5/10, solely because of the price point. Highly recommend.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Have had the RS-1 Panic Zone for almost a month now and ~1k miles. Really like the helmet.
Great graphic, very light, excellent visibility, good features
Tad bit loud at highway speeds, though
