I wear this over shirts, and under/over hoodies. My measurement was 39 inches with a t shirt on and 40 1/2 or so with a jumper on, so I went Large, and am happy Ii did. I have a wide upper and skinny lower torso and it still fits really well.
Protection: chest is good and Back is great,. If you are after the best back protection I feel a more dedicated one may be better depending on how it fits but this would be handy in a crash.
Plus this one can be worm on top of clothing and not look funny like dedicated track ones.

Honestly, everything the video says is true. Fit a little tight compared to other gloves but I went with same glove size and am happy. Quality is awesome! Comfortable, breathable. i wouldn't wear these in winter if you are riding close to freezing, cos they do breathe.
Everything is awesome, great protection without being a full gauntlet,

Icon Field Armor Stryker Knee Guard Road rash on your knees or gouged shins will ruin your month. Icon knows these lessons well. If you chose to hit the streets in anything less then full leather pants you need knee armor. That's a damn fact. The Field Armor Stryker knee armor is equipped with d3o intelligent foam and feature full CE approval. The low-profile rider developed chassis fits easily under almost any pant with easy adjustment Velcro strapping to keep them in place. Wear them and stand a fighting chance of skipping that painful trip to the hospital, so you can begin the equally painful search for new clipon and rearset on ebay. Features EN 1621-1/1997 K+L TYPE B APPROVED KNEE AND LEG IMPACT PROTECTORS BREATHABLE INTELLIGENT IMPACT DISPERSION SYSTEM ARTICULATING INJECTION MOLDED SHELL WITH AIR FLOW CHANNELS VENTED BIOFOAM AND AIRMESH CHASSIS HYDRADRY MOISTURE WICKING LINER Sold in pairs

Looking for a compromise for riding pants in summer and other occasions. I find these are worth it, I wear them without pants and under pants (need to be a little baggy, straight cut jeans wont do, draggin jeans cargo works though).
only weird bit is the knee and top part, It kinda hangs off the knee/ leg a little if worn with only shorts. Still feels like it will be there when I hit the ground (I wanted these for impact) but I doubt the would stay if I slid on my front.

Icon Field Armor Stryker Elbow Guard Probably, gonna, crash. Three words that Nick Apex uses to describe his riding style. We know hes not alone. With that thought in mind, Icon created the Stryker Elbow Armor. Rider designed chassis, d3o intelligent foam, and CE certification add up to quality blockers for your under-appreciated pointy bits. If youre one of those riders who is never going to crash this product isnt for you. If you ride anywhere near reality than we suggest acquiring a set of Field Armor Stryker elbows. I was looking for a compromise to wearing a jacket, this was one of my choices. I haven't crashed in it yet but it fits comfortably and has great forearm and elbow protection.
I feel confident that if I come off, and land/slide on that area i will be fine.
Looks badass aswell!
