Overall these are exactly what I was looking for, a pair of good riding shoes that I can use in the rain, and use them everyday extensively.
The tightening mechanism is absolutely awesome and very easy to operate with gloves on, and it seems to be holding up just fine with time.
My only complaint (is partly my fault) when I was walking, I accidentally swiped them together, and one of the side ankle pucks (not sure whats the best name for it) fell off. I expected them to be more durable than that, kind of makes me worry how they're going to hold up in a crash if simply walking caused a piece of them to fall off.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The PUMA Testastretta II Mid mixes the essence of PUMA and moto performance into a street-ready style. The Testastretta II Mid takes performance elements from the MotoGP, using the looks of the vamp shiftguard, slider, heel counter and separate aluminum heel to bring authenticity to this moto trainer. It also has a synthetic upper, injected EVA midsole for cushioning and an oil-resistant, non-slip rubber sole. Whether you're on a bike or on foot, this shoe is all about the motorsport lifestyle.

Riding Shoes

Are These boots made for riding or for style, do they offer good protection. I am a first time buyer, and want to make sure that I am buying the right shoes
I bought a pair, they offer very good protection, including ankle protection, and I have confidence in them in case of a crash, but they also look very good as a bonus.
