Arai Signet-Q Helmet - Solid Colors The Signet-Q takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and create a whole new series based on all the successes. On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the RX-Q, but on the inside you can see and feel the difference. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time. This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape. I have been wearing Arai lids for over 15 years. My most recent one being the Quantum series. This helmet (especially the II) was the best helmet I have ever owned. After 5 years, it was time to look for another one. I was extremely disappointed to hear that Arai had discontinued that helmet. Upon my dealers recommendation, I tried the RX-Q. This helmet did not fit me. At the time, the Signet-Q had not been released. I looked at Shoei, Nolans, and Schuberth. But I kept looking at the really nice RX-Q that didn't fit me. When I heard that the Signet-Q was released (with all of the same features of the RX-Q), I looked for a review of someone in my situation; going from a Quantum-II to a Signet-Q and their experience with fit.. I never found one. I then called Revzilla and explained my situation. Talking through it with the representative, I decided to take a chance and purchased the XL in Diamond Blue.
This helmet fits me very well and for those that are looking for a replacement to the Quantum series, take a look at this helmet. At least for me, it works. No pressure points at all. I have ridden about 2K miles with it since my purchase.
There are many reasons that I stick with Arai, but I would say the number one reason is the quality. I know that this helmet will last for the 5 years of my almost daily use.

Seat comparison to stock
I have an 2009 R1200GS Adventure. Is the standard seat similar in height to the stock seat?
