Saddlemen Adventure Track Seat BMW R1200 GS / Adventure The Saddlemen Adventure Track Seat is a new, hybrid seat design that combines Saddlemen's exclusive elements of a GEL comfort layer and progressive density foam with a GEL-Channel design to provide Adventure and Dual Sport riders with unparalleled comfort and control. Rugged marine-grade synthetic suede resists the elements while providing the proper balance of grip and comfort under the rider's posterior. Choose either Rider Seat Only, or 2-Piece Seat for both rider and passenger - the 2-Piece Seat features a pillion section covered with high-tech gripper material to help hold cargo in place and is shaped to match the rear rack's height for simplified cargo packing. Integrated bag or cargo mounting points on the pillion match Saddlemen Adventure PACK bags or use them to secure your own load. The 2-Piece R1200GS Saddlemen Adventure Track Seat has separate front and back seats. Also available as an optional heated version that warms the rider's section (front seat only) with 5-levels of heat, operated by remote control, making this seat the dual-purpose saddle you need to circumnavigate the globe. Note Image is for reference only, actual seat may vary slightly.

I have had this saddle for some time and have waited to see if a longer break in would help. The main thing that I was looking for was greater comfort in the seat for my R1200 GSA. This seat does not do that for me. I think I get about the same distance out of this seat as I do for my stock seat. I am a heavy (240 lbs).
I am inseam challenged and I have a tall bike, so I was worried that this seat would raise me too high in the saddle. I found that for me that was not the case. In the low setting, I actually believe that I might be a little lower than the stock seat.
I didn't trash the rating for this seat because it is well constructed, looks awesome, and it fits the bike great. The saddleman folks have really created a nice seat. For others; this might work great.
The only additional comment; it gets VERY hot in direct sunlight. So much so I had to stand on the pegs for a few minutes to let some air flow over it to cool down. I am going to try and towel or something next time I take it to work where there isn't any shade.

Arai Signet-Q Helmet - Solid Colors The Signet-Q takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and create a whole new series based on all the successes. On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the RX-Q, but on the inside you can see and feel the difference. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time. This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape. Additional Features of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side) Long Oval Fit SAI MAX-Vision Brow Vent shield Clear Pinlock Max-Vision Brow Vent Pinlock lens included Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back Long-Oval shape helps prevent Hot-Spot Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner Removable, replaceable, washable interior Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components New FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn Meets or exceeds Snell and D.O.T. standards

I have been wearing Arai lids for over 15 years. My most recent one being the Quantum series. This helmet (especially the II) was the best helmet I have ever owned. After 5 years, it was time to look for another one. I was extremely disappointed to hear that Arai had discontinued that helmet. Upon my dealers recommendation, I tried the RX-Q. This helmet did not fit me. At the time, the Signet-Q had not been released. I looked at Shoei, Nolans, and Schuberth. But I kept looking at the really nice RX-Q that didn't fit me. When I heard that the Signet-Q was released (with all of the same features of the RX-Q), I looked for a review of someone in my situation; going from a Quantum-II to a Signet-Q and their experience with fit.. I never found one. I then called Revzilla and explained my situation. Talking through it with the representative, I decided to take a chance and purchased the XL in Diamond Blue.
This helmet fits me very well and for those that are looking for a replacement to the Quantum series, take a look at this helmet. At least for me, it works. No pressure points at all. I have ridden about 2K miles with it since my purchase.
There are many reasons that I stick with Arai, but I would say the number one reason is the quality. I know that this helmet will last for the 5 years of my almost daily use.
Yes, I recommend this product.
