I rarely write reviews but these boots warranted a review. I wear a size 12 EEEE gym shoe and was worried about finding a motorcycle boot that would accomodate my wide feet. After reading that TCX boots run wide along with the reviews from others that have wide feet, I figured I'd try them out. I ordered the 12.5 size and they fit great! I even pulled out the cushion inside the boot and inserted my own custom orthotics without decreasing the foot room within the boot. I did a 900 mile ride in two days on my Goldwing and they were comfortable right out of the box with no wear in needed. I also rode half a day in the rain without seepage. I highly recommend this boot!

Does the TCX X-5 have a removable insole?

Yes, I removed the insole and replaced it with my custom orthotics.
