My hands tend to get abnormally cold in the winter, even indoors, so riding in cold temps was fine everywhere except for my hands. After looking at all of the alternatives I decided to give these gloves a try. I first ordered size XS based on Gerbing's size chart but the fingers were too long and I had to get a size 2XS, now they fit very well. They are thin with good "feel", and even without heat they are warmer than my regular winter gloves which are much thicker. But plug them in and WOW! They even have heat in the palms now, which is really nice (they used to be tops of hands only I think). Wiring is a pain but manageable. I opted for the in-line switch which is OK for me. the controller would be nice but it is expensive. If I ever get the jacket liner I will get the controller at that time. If your hands get cold like mine do (abnormally cold) then these are a great investment and I highly recommend them.
Yes, I recommend this product.

the heated glove that you conect to the bike battery can olso work on a rechargeble battery ?

i like to use the glove on the bike while driving and olso while i am using my snow blower for a few hours?
I do not think that they have a rechargeable battery for the G3 or T5 gloves, only for the Hybrid (which is basically a T5 with a place for a battery). Gerbings also makes another line that is battery powered for outdoor activities.

do these gloves have heat on the palm side?

Yes they do. I had heard that heated gloves only had heat on the outside but my Gerbing G3's definitely have heat in the palm; this may be a new thing.
