AIRMAN versus ARMAS temperatures: This is the information I wanted when buying both the Rukka Armas and the Airman. Subjective based on a year with ARMAS and 2 intense weeks with AIRMAN.
ARMAS is clearly a cool weather jacket/ pants and the AIRMAN/AIRVISION warm weather. Here is my sense of the temperature ranges. (Skivvies, T shirt under both suits.)
AIRMAN/AIRVISION JACKET/PANTS—
WITH LINING: Sweet spot is 58F through 82F. Pretty comfortable into low 90s WITH the lining if moving. 95F a reasonable upper limit as you retain heat. (Why wear lining at 95F? Heavy thundershowers expected and temperature likely to plummet. Don't want to be soaked without the waterproof liner.) Getting cold down in the mid-50s with lining and skivvies.
WITHOUT LINING: Sweet spot is 68-85F. Moves huge amount of air. Comfortable into the 90s where you hit a practical limit of just being too hot to be on a bike. 95F was no trouble, moving. Comfortable as any hot weather gear at this temperature. Black color is not a problem. I don't consider anything comfortable in muggy upper 90s. Down around 65F, it gets cool and I want the lining.
ARMAS JACKET AND PANTS—
WITH LINING: Sweet spot is 40F to 75F. Getting hot when you are not moving above 75F in direct sun. 78F is a practical upper limit. Can go much colder (easily low 30s) if you layer.
WITHOUT LINING: Sweet spot is 55F to 80F (vents open). 83F is practical upper limit--there is good airflow but the sun adds more heat than the jacket can takeaway. Gets chilly below 52F—vents closed.
Armas preferred when the temperature wont be above 80F and I know it will rain. Airman when I know it will be warmer and when I’m sure I wont need to ride much below 55F.
Both ARMAS and AIRMAN/AIRVISION are excellent. I think there are a few little nits with the AIRMAN, but these are part of the compromise from putting the waterproof lining on the inside. On a warm sunny day, the AIRMAN is a joy to ride in.

My first Arai after many Schuberth helmets. For a new BMW 1200 GS.
Great for adventure riding. Fogs a bit, but the pinlok system is great.
A little buffeting that can get annoying with the stock screen after hours on the highway, but the peak pops off in a minute, so I remove it and ride in clean, quiet air.
I would prefer NOT having the large ARAI stickers everywhere, but the helmet does look good.
Easy to install speakers in the side cutouts.

Having spent way too much money on high-end riding gear in the past, I decided to buy the Armas and see what I thought.
This is absolutely the best (comfortable, functional, confidence-inspiring) gear I own. Bought the pants and gloves, too. The suit is extremely well engineered. Extremely comfortable. Warm to 38F (It has not been cold here outside Boston, yet) with just a tee shirt and briefs on underneath. And comfortable easily up to 75F with the lining out and the vent open.
I've owned lots of other BMW and top maker gear--from blue jeans to leather suits--and this stuff far exceeded my expectations.
Only gripe is that the zipper on the jacket cuffs is a little awkward to unzip with gloves on, so I pull the gloves off first, then need to grip the cuffs with fingertips to hold the sleeve while unzipping the cuff with the opposite hand.

I have these on my 2012 R1200GS Adventure. These tires have done everything I asked of them so far. Great on the back roads, highway, and off-road. Much more grip than the usual Anakee and Tourances I have used in the past off-road, and seemingly very little compromised on-road. They make a bit more noise on the interstate at high speeds, but that all settles down after they break in. I have been surprised by how good the stopping and handling are on wet pavement. These tires also mounted very easily. If I were riding ONLY on road, I would go with something else, but these are so confidence inspiring OFF ROAD and on gravel, that if you ride there at all, these tires will make it a LOT more fun.
Enjoy!
