Shark Raw Helmet If you always wanted to be a fighter pilot but riding motorcycles is as close as you got, the Shark Raw Helmet is here to let you live out your fantasy. The aviation inspired design combines a 3/4 thermoplastic shell with off-road style goggles and a plastic face mask to create a helmet perfect for tearing up the streets in whatever urban jungle you call home. The sweat wicking liner and ventilation system keeps even the hottest heads cool and while the face mask does not provide impact protection, it does do a handy job of keeping bugs and road debris out of your mouth. Regardless of what you're riding, the Raw is a helmet for those who aren't afraid to stand out from the pack. Ride apart, ride Raw. Features Constructed from injected thermoplastic resin 2 shell sizes Comfortable natural fiber interior and ventilation system using air vents and diffusers QRGS Quick Release Goggle System Double anti-fog and anti-scratch visor Face protection mask Aerodynamic outer shell Easy fit for glasses wearers with the goggles

Like most, waited for this helmet to come stateside. Watched the review and agree with many of the initial thoughts after I pulled the helmet out of the box. Very lightweight as mentioned and compared to my full-face Arai. Did not like how the mask attaches to the goggles (4 small prongs), agree Shark should come up with a better system. The side panels can be a hard to snap back in after replacing the goggle straps. Not sure why Shark didn’t just make a vent switch for top vent, can see the little puck being lost.
Initial fit was fine around the forehead, but did get tight around the lower jaw-line with chinstrap. Goggles are kind of a pain to raise up gloved hands (worried about this as a military rider coming on base) and on my long face, chin touches mask.
Test ride on Harley with no windshield on a 50 degree day. I do wear earplugs, but thought the wind noise was not bad compared to my Arai (this is my 1st non-fullface). Slight amount of wind when moving head side to side at 70mph. Slight buffet on lower portion of mask at speed. Do hope Shark releases different tinted goggles; stock tint is ok, but really no room for sunglasses.
Overall pleased with the fit and finish of the helmet, and co-workers so far have praised the looks. Good price from Revzilla and fast shipping.
