Bought this for my girlfriend, who is on the small-side. Fit great under her full-face helmet, and she never complained about cold or wind. A great purchase!

GMax GM54S Modular Helmet - Solid The modular design allows the flip-jaw to rotate further back on the crown of the helmet. The further rotation of the flip-jaw not only increases the user's line-of-sight when in the raised position, but it also lessens the user's fatigue by maintaining an even distribution of weight across the helmet. Features New inner flip tint sun lens Inner flip shield is easily raised or lowered with a lever located on the exterior of the helmet Distortion free clear single lens shield New integrated multi-function red L.E.D rear light Optional rear brake light kit available One hand easy to use chin bar push to open mechanism Lightweight D.O.T approved thermo-plastic alloy shell Excellent shield sealing reduces unwanted air and noise GMAX D.E.V.S adjustable dual exhaust venting system, top, side, and rear venting reduces fogging and sweating by allowing hot air to escape from the mouth area and top of head Adjustable chin vent directs air upward across the inside of the shield to help reduce or eliminate fogging Large eye port for improved range of vision Coolmax comfort liner and cheek pads move the moisture away from your body and the fabric dries quickly. Purchased this helmet to directly replace a BILT modular helmet, very similar. A great helmet, absolutely worth the money and then some. Not disapointed at all, but there are a few flaws.
-Doesn't look as good as the BILT helmet. Too "busy", with all the vents. But, I bought it for all those vents...so, it's a plus OR a minus, depending.
-Big shell size. When compared to the BILT modular, this helmet is slightly larger, enough to be noticeable. Both are size "medium". Nothing crazy, but definitely larger on the outside.
-Fogs up easily. Eh, I expected that for the price.
-Modular chin seems it could be flipped up on it's own...a little worrying.
Overall though, a great helmet. Second GMAX I have owned. Very, VERY quiet and comfy compared to the BILT helmet! Plenty of space for my (larger) ears, the BILT helmet had zero. Built-in earphone holes are great, love it.
Summery: understand that you are buying a near-$100 helmet, accept the slight flaws, and you'll be very, very happy. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.
Yes, I recommend this product.
