Woodcraft Brake Light Switch These universal switches allow rearset users to operate the rear brake light. This all-in-one unit replaces the banjo bolt that connects the rear master cylinder to the rear brake line. You simply replace the bolt with this assembly and splice the wires into your existing brake light switch. The pressure inside your brake system then activates the brake light.
This bolt needs to include a boot cover the bold head and the first inch of wiring, just for protection and smooth aesthetics. Also, if you want to solder these wires to your brake OEM wires this install can get a little more difficult. However, that's how it should be done. Reduces electrical resistance. Finally, you have to bleed the brakes to install this banjo bolt.
Having said that, it's a great product. it fits really well and works perfectly. Also, using this eliminates the need for a spring cluttering the brake-side rearset. Afterward, the brake switch is connected to the master cylinder, not the rearset itself. Makes switching out rearsets super easy.
