I purchased the gold shield for my icon battlescar. Unfortunately the first one I received had a chip in the gold finish, which was surprising with the large box it wrapped in. The reason my review is still strong is because the second one I got has been near perfect. Fit is a hair off, but its easy enough to get on. Your vision isn't "gold" at all, just slightly tinted - which is good for day and night riding. This shield is perfect if you don't want to wear sunglasses in your helmet during the day, and don't want to change to a clear shield at night. Also, it looks bada.
Yes, I recommend this product.

You don't need a bungee cord attached to your handlebar to remind you the lock is on, because if you started to roll the alarm would stop you! The finish and everything is nice, and I keep it hanging from a storage loop under my luggage rack when not in use. It has been down-poured on and is still fine. The alarm is crazy loud! I can park my bike wherever I want with a LOT more peace of mind. Highly recommend this to anybody who gets nervous about where they park. I gave durability a 5/5 but have only had the lock for about a month.

I used this from a buddy's jacket and it does have a night and day difference between a foam insert. I highly recommend using either this or a separate back protector.

The perforation works really well, it's a good jacket for the main 3 seasons. As for winter, find a windbreaker for underneath
.
The armor is typical with these jackets, but I'd recommend either a back armor upgrade or the back and front upgrades to replace the foam padding.
As for fit, make sure you take everything into consideration. I ended up with the wrong size because I was too tall - now I have a size that may be too big around the stomach, but I can add layers/armor in to fill that gap.
