they do their job fine... if you get these its pretty much exactly what you would expect...
however 4 things to know about these
-there is no rubber to hold the strap in place on the back of helmet so you may have to just put some silicone on strap or somethin
-it will narrow your side view slightly so if you dont have mirrors you will have to turn your head a little farther than normal
-the lenses are kinda loose in the frame, they wont fall out and are held in securely, they just move a little when you mess with them in your hands, no big deal
-(this one is preference, not a down) they are larger than you would expect. i wear a large bell 500 helmet and they seem to be too bulky, for me anyways. i like a snug fit and they dont completely seal the wind out of my eyes so if dry red eyes are your worry then maybe find a smaller style of goggles

im in my mid 20s riding an 81 GS1100E.
i dont have time currently to post pics, but just trust me, it looks so good on a bell 500
I was using some pretty cool chrome goggles with my bell 500, all my friends kept makin fun of me saying it was too "over the top" since im not an old dude...
so i ordered a smoke and clear shield...
it looks amazing, i catch a lot of looks from old riders that i pass as if it brings memories or somethin and a lot of smiles from girls i pull up next to.
it is very very secure to the helmet. the only way this thing will fly off is if you were to hit over a ton and some change and look straight up. but i would suggest better helmets for going over 100 and looking straight up.
almost no visual distortion. the smoke shield is perfect, once again, plain sexy, and it makes you feel sexy... it a pretty mild shade which i really enjoy, since i usually come home around sunset and doesnt get too dark like sunglasses would... also i like the girls to see my face while still not getting blinded and having to squint or show off my dry red wind beaten eyes when i pull up next to a sexy lady
you will not be disappointed, i promise

The gloves are awesome... i get tons of compliments on them.
they are super cool and let a lot of air in.
the size is SLIGHTLY smaller... so if you are already tight in a medium. then you will be really really tight in these... but the leather will stretch... in other words... dont size up unless that size in other gloves is already really really tight.
the only downside to these gloves is the velcro. ive only wore them about 2 weeks or so and the velcro is gettin a little sloppy and non-velcro like.
