I picked up the Nolan 301 a few months ago. It has been a fantastic helmet! very comfortable and the composite feature with build in sun shield is great! I've used it on a few rainy rides and it has been a blessing. The front venting system works well to keep the visor clear and fog free. The composite front has a nice locking/closing system too. I've noticed with other composite models that the locking mechanism can feel plastic and cheap, this system has a really nice snap to it and has a nice smooth movement.
A few small issues with this helmet, the build in sun shield does not recess fully and hangs down just a tiny bit, nothing detrimental though. It is a bit loader at highway speeds however the way the helmet cushions are made, make it nice to have ear plugs or head phones in.

I'm a new rider and wanted to get the safest jacket i could buy on the market, after about 2 month of research this jacket was at the top of the list. I've ridden with it for about 3 weeks now and it is fantastic! Very comfortable and strong. The water proof liner has kept me dry through 3 rain storm. Armor is great and doesn't rub against the body. The only down side to this jacket is that it does get a warm when standing still. All in all it is a great jacket!

Is the aerodynamic hump on the Joe Rocket Radar Jacket removable?
The aerodynamic hump on the back is not removable.
