I had a $150 HJC Helmet before I purchased the Arai Vector 2 Marker Helmet. And let me tell you, I got it when I traded my 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 for a 2012 BMW S1000RR, and the difference made in helmets felt the same as the performance change in bikes!
My old HJC was big, heavy, and just felt clunky and "lollipopish" on the road. Fit was not very good at all, and ventilation was basically absent. Switching from that to the Arai Vector 2, was a WORLD of a difference. The first thing I noticed was how light it felt compared to my older helmet, but at the same time the Vector 2 feels amazingly comfortable and very quality made. I also would fully trust this helmet for the protection of my life.
I have done 3 track days with this helmet, and absolutely have nothing negative to say about it. It fit's amazingly and I just love the feel of being able to move my head smoothly around a corner looking at my next turn in point/reference point. It's so light!
Arai protects the craniums of many people, from AMA Pro Riders, WSBK Riders, MotoGP Riders, and even to the daily commuter. When you put an Arai on, you'll see why so many people say, "Arai for life!". I definitely am part of the family now.
I love my Vector 2. You'll love it too. Get an Arai and you'll notice a world of a difference and you'll get to experience the best feeling helmets in the world!!
Rides: 2012 BMW S1000RR
