TechSpec C3 Tank Pads BMW K1600GT The TechSpec C3 Tank Pads offer the ultimate in comfort and grip for everyday commuting, casual rides, and touring. The 0.100 thin synthetic rubber compound has a soft, gummy feel, allowing your knees to sink into the material, similar to memory foam. The special adhesive back allows the tank pads to be removed and repositioned if necessary. Each pad is tailored to fit your specific bike model. Body position and weight control are essential techniques for not only aggressive riding, but also with touring. By griping the tank with your legs, you will improve overall control of your body motion, weight position and posture. All of this combined allows you to ride longer, whether on Main Street or the Blue Ridge Parkway. Features Increase/maintain control of weight and body position Eliminates sliding Improves riding style Decreases body fatigue Improves weight adjustment Protects tank from abuse Will not damage leather or textile pants Includes 2 left, 2 right and 1 center tank pad Please use care when removing the paper backing from the adhesive so as not to pull the adhesive away from the Tank Pad Note Installed image for shape and size reference only.

I installed a set of the TechSpec C3 pads on my 2014 K1600GT and really liked them for the first few months. They started showing wear at around 6 months and were worn completely through before they were on the bike for a year (14,000 miles). I'm wearing the same pants I wore on my previous bike (Honda ST1300 with OEM tank pads) and rode over 70,000 miles without the pads showing any wear so it's not the pants.
The C3 pads are noted as a wear item, but buying new pads yearly, particularly at this price, is ridiculous in my opinion.

Slightly Small
Large
As indicated in the video you probably need to order a size smaller than normal. I typically wear a large, even in my previous HRX Cortech jacket, but the medium fits me perfectly. The jacket flows more air than the HRX and is a bit less Power Ranger looking.

These gloves are made well and fit true to size. They are comfortable. My only complaint is the small Velcro strap - it may not be sufficient to keep the gloves on in a get-off and it tends to recatch when removing the gloves.
Yes, I recommend this product.
