as the cold weather started to come on i started narrowing down the areas i needed to address for wind protection. my hands were at the top of the list so i did a lot of research and finally settled on the apex drystars. they are everything i was missing. they took i minute to get used to with the extra bulk but my hands have stayed toasty into the low 40s.
Yes, I recommend this product.

this product works great for what it's intended for which is keeping your face warm. however, in a modular helmet like mine the duck bill gets smashed and serves no purpose. not a huge issue. the big issue for me was the interference with my peripheral vision. i can no longer glance over my shoulder to check for traffic. i have to practically turn around before i change lanes. i've only worn it once and am not looking forward to having to wear it again.

after researching motorcycle boots for 3 weeks i narrowed it down to 4. these boots were last on my list only because i wanted something a little more flashy. after breaking down what was really important, i.e. functionality and protection, and after talking to the zilla rep, i decided to go with the dianese boots. they fit good. a little big but after adding a dr sholls insole they fit great and still have room for a thick sock if i want. only had them a couple weak but they are breaking in nicely. feel great on the bike, wouldn't want to walk miles in them. overall i'm happy with my choice.

Drafts?

Do I need to be concerned regarding drafts on the back of the neck? There seems to be a lack of coverage in that area. Why didn't Klim continue the coverage all the way around?
i felt no draft. it definitely kept the wind out.

As these are boot cut pants, will they tuck inside my boots?

I wear Oxstar track boots for my street riding. Will these pants tuck inside the boot?
i would think not.
