Dainese New Drake Air Textile Pants Drake pants will surely interest anyone who loves to ride his or her bike especially in the warmer months without wearing a suit or leather pants in order to obtain the protection required. These previously contrasting needs have now been perfectly reconciled by Drake fabric pants. Ample air vents in fretted fabric with closing on the thighs permit fresh air to enter during riding for cooling relief on even the hottest days. When temperatures begin to drop, the air vents can be closed. Safety is guaranteed by removable composite protections in the knee and shins, while extra-strength Cordura 750 fabric offers protection in case of fall. The elastic inserts in the knee optimise the wearability of the article, which is equally suited to metropolitan motorcycle use. Features Removable composite protectors. Cordura fabric 750. Suretta fabric. Perforated fabric. Insert in elasticated fabric. Soft inserts. Calf zip. Jacket-trousers fastening system. Adjustable waist. Sanityzed lining.

I have worn these pants twice (250miles) so this is the review I can offer..
I wear a 33 in Jeans so i ordered the 50..too tight..swapped them for 52..they fit well..i am 6'2 athletic build and was looking for something which was quite fitted so I would be comfortable wearing them around town with some sneakers..this they are
First time i wore them, within a matter of minutes as I was pulling up to a traffic light with my gf on the back of my boxer as i put my foot down the bottom of the pants got stuck on the boxer engine and for a second i couldn't put my right foot down and the weight of the bike started tipping to the right...yes..gf + bike + luggage..it was about to tip over on the street because the Dainese pants are not designed for tall people..
Aside from that they are comfortable, i put a pair of thermal underwear on underneath one brisk morning and that sufficed, on the ride home that day when it was warmer i opened the knee air vents...hmm not sure if my GSA tank stops the air from hitting my their but did not feel much..didn't get too hot so i'll just have to see as it gets warmer here in Socal.
The padding feels good all around and they zip into my Dainese Air Frame jacket, which does kind of make me feel like i am wearing clothes i have outgrown as they get tightened together..
If Dainese catered for taller gents and ladies then they would rate excellent until then..you pay a premium and you get something very nice

Dainese Air-Frame Textile Jacket Focus Continued comfort under changing weather conditions with excellent ventilation is hard to achieve in a ventilated jacket because whenever the temperature drops, the wearer immediately feels cold. In this case, the Air-Frame jacket offers the best solution by combining the ventilation achieved by ample inserts in mesh with protection against cold air offered by a remarkably lightweight windcheating insert. Provided with ample adjustment possibilities, jacket-pants fastening zip, homologated protectors and a pocket for a G-type back protector, this versatile jacket also comes in a ladies version. Features Removable composite protectors certified to EN 1621.1/97 Standard Boomerang fabric Quick Dry fabric Mesh fabric. Neck adjustment Waist adjustment Wrist adjustment Sleeve volume adjustment Jacket-trousers fastening system Removable wind-breaker liner Sanitized lining Pocket for backspace G1 and G2 Reflective inserts 2 outside pockets Internal pocket
