I've only worn it once yet on my 40mi one way commute, but it's mostly unnoticeable, just as advertised. This will be part of my standard gear from now on.
I decided to get one of these after hitting a deer last month and rolling away from it completely unharmed. Unharmed other than the bike was totaled that is. I decided that I might not be so lucky next time and that I should have all the gear and tech on my team as I can.
It only needed slight adjustment to get a good fit. It has many adjustment options. The only one I needed was to move the scapula wings in a notch.
The only time I feel limited at all is when turning my head left or right an extreme amount. I tend to really turn my head when lane checking and I do feel the helmet hit the brace when doing that. Other than that you really don't notice it.
Hopefully I will never need to report on its performance in a situation for which it was invented.
