If you have removed the passenger pegs, then this is the kit you need to properly tie-down the bike; without it, you cannot compress the rear suspension. The perfect tie-down solution for transporting your bike to track days. VERY light weight, fit and finish; however, the bolts that come with it almost weigh as much as the tie-down hooks. Black fits right in with the rest of the bike; gold looks kind of tacky.

Dunlop Sportmax Q3 Rear Tires The Dunlop Sportmax Q3 is the next-generation sport bike tire and successor to Dunlop's popular Q2 tire, featuring Dunlops new Carbon Fiber Technology (CFT) which incorporates carbon fiber reinforcements into the sidewall. The Dunlop Q3 Sportmax also features an updated tread pattern with longer grooves to better evacuate water which helps wet weather performance and Dunlop's Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) for phenomenal handling and steering grip and feel. IRP provides a larger, more consistent contact patch as you lean into corners, as well as linear steering and handling at various lean angles. IRP tires also offer phenomenal steering and handling characteristics thanks to a taller profile along with sides that taper in more aggressively. The new Sportmax Q3 represents yet another direct benefit yielded from Dunlops AMA Pro Road Racing involvement. As the control tire supplier for AMA Pro Road Racing, Dunlop invested in new tire-producing machinery necessary to accommodate race tire production at Dunlops Buffalo, NY, manufacturing facility. These same high-tech machines are used to produce the all-new Q3 rear tire. Features Dunlops Carbon Fiber Technology (CFT) uses carbon fiber reinforcement in the tire sidewalls for exceptional cornering performance and feel Aggressive new Dunlop Q3 tread pattern uses fewer grooves that are longer in length to enhance wet-weather performance Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) technology in the rear tire allows greater latitude in line choice while cornering, plus amazingly linear steering MT Multi-Tread technology in the rear tire uses a tough, long-wearing compound in the center of the tread for excellent traction and longer tread life, plus special lateral grip compounds for outstanding grip Dunlop tires with MT technology incorporate a tough, cool-running long-wearing compound in the center of the tread to provide enhanced straight-line stability and excellent traction under acceleration, plus long tread life New Q3 tire compounds were derived from road-race compounds to yield maximum sportbike performance The Dunlop Sportmax Q3 offers superb grip, stability, steering feel and longevity on the street and on the track Designed, tested and manufactured in America, the Dunlop Q3 sets new standards for high-performance sport tires

I run these on my 1199 Panigale S as a replacement for the overpriced Super Corsas that came as standard OEM.
I now have over 1,000 miles of vigorous back-road riding on the Q3s. I am very pleased with their performance and durability. In fact, with the TC dialed back one on sport mode (traction control is dialed in by Ducati to be specific to the OEM SC tires), I cannot tell the difference between the Q3s and the SCs... other than the fact that they are WAY cheaper and likely WAY better in the wet..
Oh, and for those of you riding Ducati 1199s, I dialed back the traction control in wet mode by two levels (for riding in traffic or at posted speeds less than 40 MPH); however, I would only dial the TC back one level if I was actually using the wet mode in the wet.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I've had a pair of these (black) for two years and about 12,000 miles of fast road riding. They are very comfortable and offer fabulous protection; however, the black colour faded very quickly to a dull grey and the seams came out of the palm where the stingray protective pads is sewn into the palm (on both gloves). Likely, this was a result of pulling them off an on repeatedly over the last couple of years. Although I am very disappointed with the durability, I was very pleased with them before the seams went - so much so that I may replace them with same and just be more careful of how I take them off and on.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V2 Rear Tire Original Equipment on the Ducati Panigale, the new SP Version 2 Diablo Supercorsa features the same tread design used in the 2012 World Superstock 1000 championship. High modulus fiber carcass offers a lower deformation ratio and makes the entire structure stiffer to allow a better synergy between compounds and tire carcass. Single Element Tread Pattern permits a 24 larger slick shoulder area (vs. previous Diablo Supercorsa), increasing contact area and grip and wear regularity. New compounds offer great balance of mileage and grip in an ultra-high-performance product. Rear tire uses Pirelli's patented EPT (enhanced patch technology) matched with a tri-zone compound that helps optimize the contact patch for improved grip and handling. Features Single Groove Technology greatly improves wear Bi-Compound rear tire with slick shoulder for racing-like performance WSBK derived materials and structure for increased agility and intuitive handling Innovating and exclusive Pirelli-patented high-modulus carcass Lyocel fiber Tire profile features variable geometry from the center to the shoulders for an increase in contact patch and quicker entry into turns Tire carcass has variable density from center to the shoulders to provide maximum linearity and stability through turns and to maintain optimal trajectory TL (tubeless) (W)-rated for speeds of 168+ MPH 200/55-17 is OE for Ducati 1199 Panigale

These are OEM equipment on my Ducati Panigale 1199. My first set lasted 3,000 miles, although that includes 2,500 miles of break-in. When I needed a replacement set I was unable to get the version 2 (not available then) and so I replaced them with the previous version of SP, which are almost worn out in half the milage. The V2 SPs stick like glue and are a great tire for fast road riding in dry weather.
