I originally bought the hi-viz version of this jacket in large and the fit was fine. However once I fitted a back pad I new I had to exchange for an Xl. If you read some of the other reviews, you'll see this is a common point of view. I listed this as "true to size" which is technically correct but with a back pad installed and collar snapped its a little irritatingly tight around the neck. The Xl with the back pad fits great although the sleeves are a tiny bit long. I purchased this jacket as a backup to my Badlands but find my self reaching for this jacket more often. Great light weight, airy yet still feels safe..
For fit comparison I am 5'10" 185 normally a 42R coat size.
Yes, I recommend this product.

REVIT Seesoft Back Protector Insert The revolutionary new REVIT See Soft CE-Level 2 back protector is designed to absorb multiple impacts without compromising on comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement. The highly impact-resistant blend of Nitrille and Polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE Certified to the highest level of prEN 1621-22010 level 2. In the case of severe angular impact, the individual Memory Foam layers will shift relative to one another, resulting in impact dispersion over a larger effective surface area and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back. The Seesoft back protector performs extremely consistently in all weather conditions and is unaffected by temperature ranges from -4 F to +104 F (-20 C to +40 C). Most REV'IT jackets are designed to accommodate a Seesoft CE Level 2 back protector insert. Newer jackets will have a marking on the protector pocket that indicates the matching type and size of the protector. For additional information, please see the Seesoft Back Protector Insert Fit Chart (pdf) or follow the sizing in the description on the product's page.

I bought this for my airwave jacket after finding out that my extra Klim 3DO back pad wouldn't fit. The pad fits the jacket perfectly and is light and allows for a decent airflow...

Best jacket I have for very light off road riding. I also have a badlands pro and while its a much heavier jacket it does have slightly better venting the the latitude. Still I don't think you can buy a better all around jacket at this price range..

Nolan N104 Helmet - Solid Colors The Nolan N104 Helmet represents an evolutionary step forward in Nolan's helmet line. The N104 is much lighter (7oz) than previous models and features a lower profile, achieved through the use of multiple shell sizes, better aerodynamics and a much larger viewport for increased visibility. The (patented) chin guard rotation mechanism, with elliptical trajectory, makes it possible to minimize the total size of the helmet's front section when the chin guard is open. The sail effect is consequently greatly reduced, increasing rider comfort even when the chin bar is raised. The ultrawide eyeport is the largest of any Nolan helmet, both vertically and laterally, allowing for maximum field of view. The AIRBOOSTER ventilation system is equipped with an air intake in the chin bar, another intake in the brow, and two exhaust vents at the rear. The inner comfort lining includes removable cheekpads, inner liner, neckroll and chin curtain, all of which are washable as well as antifungal and antibacterial. The redesigned comfort liner also accommodates eyeglasses much more easily than before. All Nolan N104 helmets are also N-COM B4 ready ( N-COM B4 is designed expressly for the N104 and is sold separately). Shell Features Injected polycarbonate GE Lexan shell 7oz lighter than the Nolan N103 Two Shell engineering allows Nolan N104 to offer sizes from 2XS to 3XL (2XS-LG and XL-3XL) Dimensionally correct sizing allows ample cubic volume in chin/nose area Faceshield Features Face shields are now sized to fit the two different shell sizes (2XS-LG and XL-3XL) Ultra wide eye port opening is the largest on any Nolan helmet for superior visibility Shield is changed by a simple push button mechanism Pinlock shield included with each helmet VPS (Vision Protection System) slider bar to lower, push button release for instant retraction VPS lens is scratch and fog resistant Chin Bar Features Centromatic chin guard opening mechanism requires dual action, simultaneous action to prevent accidental opening Dual action opening mechanism is positioned in the centre of the chin guard and allows for easy, one-handed opening Ventilation AIRBOOSTER ventilation system, ensures optimal ventilation where is is most required Air intake in the chin guard draws air in and onto the inside of the faceshield 3 position top vent (closed, crown vent, crown/brow vent) 2 venturi exhaust ports at rear of helmet Plastic vent tube channels in EPS disperse cool air throughout the helmet interior Inner Liner Features removable cheek pads, inner liner, neck roll and wind protector The inner padding of the N104 is easily removable and washable and antibacterial The shape of the inner comfort padding facilitates eyeglass wearing Reflective insert at the centre of the roll neck further improves the rider's visibility at night Neck roll can be removed easily, for more comfort in the warmer months Other Features N-Com Communication System compatible (sold separately) Features Microlock2 quick-release retention system Microlock2 consists of a plastic ergonomic opening lever, and of a second aluminium toothed and holding lever Microlock2 minimizes the possibility of unintentional opening while still making it ergonomic and easy to use Meets or exceeds D.O.T. standards

This helmet was my first purchase here at revzilla and it was a great buy(along with the b-4 comm kit). I was looking for a safe, quiet, modular, comm-integrated helmet which only left schuberth and Nolan meeting these criteria. I've always heard that schuberth was the most quiet modular helmet on the market so I considered it seriously. After reading a few reviews on the n-104 I decided that the schuberth couldn't be $300 quiter then the n-104 and went with the Nolan. I'm glad I did. I've received a few phone calls while rolling down the freeway, and most callers can't even tell I'm on my bike...
After about a year of use on my f800gs on and off road
Pros:
Light for a modular helmet
Quiet for a modular helmet
Integrated sun visor really nice
Pin lock and shield great
Comm system great
Flip up latch can be operated with thin/light gloves easily
Sun visor deploy/retract very easy to operate
Very minor Cons:
Sun visor should come down just a little lower
It doesn't take much dirt/dust to foul up the sun visor retract (I know it's not an off road helmet)

Totally happy with this boot... Really give you the feeling that you're protected. It just misses a perfect score because of the squeaking.

I'd say the only thing that was a bit frustrating is that it wasn't was the instructions... It isn't instantly clear how to get sound from my iphone. The device connects to my iphone automatically once paired, but doesn't play any sound. The B4 doesn't work like most other bluethooth devices once connected, where you initiate sound output from the source device (iphone). Once connected you have to press and hold the up button on the helmet to get audio. if you don't do this it just looks like the phone is connected to a device that can't output audio...
However, once I figured this out, the unit works as described... The FM radio is picks up stations well, the 6 presets are handy and the audio quality is great. The B4 is capable of loud volume for a helmet. I wear earplugs and even over the earplugs the loudest setting downs out the traffic noise (which we should all still be listening for)
Don't ride with anyone else who has a Nolan so I can comment on bike to bike or driver to pillion
