Perfect for Summer and Early Morning Ride. I live in Long Beach, CA where the sun is always out, but a cool breeze run by the beach this Jacket is perfect. It comes with all the safety gig of a leather jacket, but really comfortable. I have the Racing Leather Jacket and the fit is comparable to the Air-3.

I have had a couple of Helmets already from an Arai and ICON. This is of the same standard of an ARAI, but yo cannot simply compare an ICON to a shoei. It's like saying driving a toyota vs a lexus. The shoei has more quality to it's work, quieter that an ICON (geese not sure if you can use quiet and ICON in the same sentence).
Compared to an Arai, I believe you'll be spending less with a shoei to get the same quality as in a Arai. Design and looks, I'll go for a Shoei over an Arai, just my two cents.

I have been using Icon and Alpinestars as gloves, but this one is super light and NOT bulky. Jusyt like any leather it stretches out over time, so I got a size smaller...snug on the first few weeks but got more comfortable and breathable after daily use.

Icon Airframe Construct Manic Helmet Those of a certain age may recognize the snarling chin bar grin from the ICON archives. Gone are the fiesta of colors, the greens and reds and yellows that made the Manic such a hit with the K-5 crowd. What is left is a pure skeletal form that reveals the Manics true colors. A glossy bone matrix overlaid in black lines of nightmarish demarcation. Frantic scratchings of one possible future. The Construct Manic an ICON 1000 interpretation of beast mode. Features All world standard, meets or exceeds the following DOT FMVSS 218(US), ECE 22-05(EUROPE), SAI AS1698(AUSTRALIA) SG(JAPAN) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI or SG certification stickers unless purchased in that country Special 'Naked' Finish Fiberglass/Dyneema/Carbon fiber shell Wind tunnel tested and refined Imported Note Helmet ships with both Clear and Dark Smoke faceshields.

I currently have an Arai RX-7 Corsair and I love this helmet, so when I chose to go with ICON as a recommendation from a friend tht has one, I bought the the Icon ariframe. The graphics on this helmet is awesome and I got some consistent compliment on it. The aerodynamics on this peice is superb as it does not feel it's going to tear your neck off doing 90 on the fwy when looking at the sides. The only thing that is SLIGHTLY and I emphasize SLIGHTLY, is it is not comparable to my Arai. This has more wind noise than the old style Arai I have, but everything else is great.
Yes, I recommend this product.
