I've worn these pants as both overpants and simply by themselves. They have a windproof/waterproof liner as well as a separate thermal liner.
The armor is very good, and did a great job protecting me when I took a relatively low-speed low-side spill. My hip was a little sore, but there was no bruising. The only damage to the pants was a rip in the external zip-on portion of the right knee, which ripped pretty badly, but the pants are still perfect with the exception of that external zip-on section.
The fit is excellent, the pants are extremely warm even below 40F, but can be made to be very comfortable for summer riding by removing the external zip-on sections and the interior liners.

This helmet is excellent. I'm a big fan of the air pump, which lets you make the cheek pads extra snug. The integrated sun visor is absolutely excellent; wonderful for when you know you'll be traveling into the setting sun only to ride back home at night. No need to carry more than 1 visor anymore!
My only real gripe is that when the top front (forehead) vents are open over 40 mph, they have a tendency to whistle regardless of head position. This could have much to do with my bike though; the windshield is pretty low.
Even still, with just the chin vent open, the air flow is excellent.
The neon green pattern is very attention-getting and almost appears 3D.
If you're looking for a great all-around helmet for the price, you really can't go wrong with this one!
