I spent a while riding in northern California in the winter, so you can imagine how that went(wet), but this was the only part of my setup that was actually waterproof(despite it all being rain gear), my socks were dry.
The reason I bought them was because of the flat foot, I hate how most boots have heels that catch rather than letting you put your foot wherever you want on the peg. Plus heels are uncomfortable, props to women.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The way the wrist Velcro attaches is sort of shoddy, the hook side wears on the upper mesh if you are not careful in addition unless adjusted just right and strapped as tight as they go the glove slides around on my palm requiring a death grip to control the throttle. On longer rides I found that it wore off a layer or two of skin on the side of my knuckles. The airflow is really good though, if you want a pair of yellow summer gloves for short rides go for it.
