I wanted shoes/boots that didn't look so silly off the bike, and these shoes look great (I got the black ones). The fit for me was right on, and they feel thick and sturdy. Since they are full leather, they do get pretty hot, and there's a part above the ankle that rubs sometimes, but a longer pair of socks fixes that. Overall, I would recommend these, especially if you're trying to avoid the goofy boot look.

Do you use the shift pad

Has anyone used the "shift pad" that comes with the shoe? What's your verdict: yes or no?
The padding in the toe is good, you won't feel any discomfort when shifting.
