have only had for a day to ride around with, so cant tell much about durability. the fit and finish of this boot is excellent so if that has anything to do with quality i'd suspect they'd stand up to a good bit of abuse. they have noticeable airflow to the top of foot, surprised me while riding how cool my feet felt compared to waterproof motorcycle boots. these definitely need a better insole, so it'd be wise to invest in some dr scholls. wish the buckle was metal instead of plastic, but its just for holding down the shoelaces and it does a good job at that, its adjustable. couldn't lace all the way to top holes cause the tongue of boot would start to dig into the bottom of my leg, had to lace to second top holes which seems to do just fine holding the boot on my foot, i don't think it'd come loose in a crash. it offers good ankle/foot protection, hope i never have to need it for that. overall a good solid boot that's well worth the $90 i payed

What material are the lower eyelets?
Are they leather or a textile?
top two eyelets are metal, bottom ones are textile that are double seemed top and bottom on the inside of boot

Is the insole removable?
I have a need to always wear custom fit orthotics, so it'd be great to know, thanks.
