I do love the design of this jacket with one exception: the useless leather flappy thing just below the collar on the back of the jacket. If I paid over 600 dollars, the thing is going on a hanger! I ended up not purchasing the jacket for a few reasons. Neither the medium or large fit me right. At this price point, the jacket should be available in sizes like 40, 42, 44, etc. Also, for 600 I can get an American made leather jacket that might not have the exact look of this coat, but will be at least as good or better in terms of leather quality, plus I will be buying American made, which is very important to me.

Bell Custom 500 Helmet Just when you thought it couldnt get any better, Bell went back to the lab to make improvements to the legendary Custom 500. A new headform means the Custom 500 now fits better and looks smaller on your head than ever. No more bobbleheads. The thin-profile shell allows the Bell Custom 500 helmet to sit lower on the head, and with 5 shell and EPS sizes, its now even easier to find the look you want with the perfect fit. Features 5 shell and EPS liner sizes ensure a low profile look Integrated 5 snap pattern for aftermarket shields and visors Padded chin strap with D-ring closure and strap keeper Multi Density EPS liner Stainless Steel D-ring closure Leather D-ring pull tab Five year warranty

The old Bell 500 was awful, the head form was perfect only if your head was globe shaped. The 2014 version is much improved, and more comfortable, sits as low or lower than my Lick's Novdot. Compared to the new 500, the biltwell dot 3/4 is slightly more round and was not as good a fit. Size for size, I think the biltwell is a bit shorter front to back, which caused pressure points front and back, even on my fairly round noggin. The biltwell liner, however is much more soft and plush. Overall, great improvements to the Bell 500. I am hoping to see more finishes and some with chrome trim released soon.
