I am 5' 6" and wear size 31x30 jeans in most brands.
I ordered a size Small and they fit perfectly as overpants. I could wear them as stand-alones as well, but I would have to cinch the waist as tight as it goes.
The first time I wore them on a ride it was ~50 degrees F. I kept both liners in just to get a baseline on how warm they would keep me.
By the end of the ride I was definitely ready for the liners to come out, but it wasn't unbearable.
The next ride I took it was ~40 - 45 degrees F and I didn't wear the pants - again, I wanted to get a baseline of when I should/should not wear them. Needless to say, I definitely could have used them on that ride.
There are a million zippers that go all over the place on these pants. I recommend sitting down without them on and really exploring what the zippers do so you don't have to try and figure it out while you're on the road.
I'm certain these will be perfect for winter-long riding in the southeast.

I'm 5' 6" and ordered the small jacket.
The elbow protection seems to be a little low on the sleeves, but once I put gloves on and the sleeves slide up a little bit, they feel like they're in the right place. They feel right when holding the handlebars as well.
The jacket seems to have pretty good ventilation, though I think it would be nice if there were zippered vents that you could open as well.
All in all, it was a great jacket for the price.

Icon Reign Waterproof Boots One more product to walk out of our foul-weather development center. The Reign boot's easy access and low profile design make it an excellent choice for the daily commute or long distance travel. Rugged waterproof YKK zippers make entry and exit a snap (actually a zip). The waterproof and breathable interior mean your feet stay cool and dry even when it's neither cool nor dry outside. Protection comes by the way of durable leather and a ballistic nylon upper mated with injection molded shin and ankle plates. The lowers feature an axialmetric steel shank along with slip-resistant high friction outsoles. Even with all of these features, we still managed to make them so lightweight and comfortable you may just want to wear them year 'round. Features Durable leather and ballistic nylon upper 100 waterproof seam sealed construction Waterproof and breathable inner lining Injection molded shin and ankle plates Rubber shift interface ribs High friction Icon outsoles Axialmetric steel shank Footpeg interface arch YKK waterproof zippers

Wide
I wear an 8.5 in every brand of shoe that I can think of, so I ordered a size 8.5 in these boots. While the length is perfect, the width is quite narrow. This makes it slightly uncomfortable, but I was optimistic that after they had been worn for a bit, they would feel better.
Fortunately, I was right. After wearing these for an entire weekend during the MSF Basic Rider course, they definitely fit better, while remaining snug.
These are perfect for a narrower foot, and slightly small for an average foot. If you have wide feet, I would probably consider purchasing a different boot.

I ordered a large HJC FS-15 that was slightly too large. I returned it and ordered the large EXO-500 instead.
It fits nicely, and I really like the flip down internal visor.
I wore it for the first time during my MSF Basic Rider course, and even at speeds of ~15 MPH, I could feel the air coming through the helmet.

I ordered this helmet on clearance, and ended up buying a large, as that was the last size they had in stock.
My head measurement is smack dab in between medium and large, so I ordered it, hoping it would be a little on the small size.
It ended up being slightly too large for my head, so I've returned it.
I never got a chance to ride with it, but I put it on and stood in front of a fan to test the airflow. Even with a household fan blowing, I could feel the air inside the helmet, so I'm sure it would have been a great helmet to ride with.
