For the money, these are fantastic 3 season gloves. Pinky may be a little bit long, as others have said, but I have long fingers, and is a non issue for me. True to size, exceedingly comfortable, very good breath ability, and seemingly solid protection though I've not yet tested that aspect of these gloves. During CA winters (not a real winter) I'd wear a liner, as my fingers would get very cold under about 45 degrees F ambient temp. But you don't buy these as winter gloves anyway, so this is also a non issue for me. Overall, very solid value!

I don't think so! I'll keep it short: This jacket is worth ever penny. Every aspect of this jacket is above par, but if I had to pick one critique, I'd say the sleeves could be longer. I'm 6'2", 210, athletic build, and would normally wear a XL. I bought the 2XL to account for another layer, armor, and my long monkey arms; I was within the sizing limit on every measurement, but the sleeves. For me this is normal, and as such, is not a fair critique of the cut of the jacket itself. That said, there is a bit too much material in the belly for my taste, but again, I went up a size deliberately, and as such must deal with it. This is a very minor issue for me, as every other aspect of this jacket is perfect, and I do mean PERFECT! Well done RSD!

Love all most everything about this helmet. Vision is tip top with the wider screen; comfort is great; adjustability and features are fantastic; air-flow is money. However, on that last one, I'm a little confused. The seven adjustable vents allow for all kinds of customization for airflow, which I absolutely love. But, on a cool morning or evening, it really does nothing to de-fog the lens; similarly, the lens lock lever (3 levels of adjustment) has an setting that slightly cracks the screen for even more airflow, and is specifically designed to de-fog the lens... again, if cold out, it doesn't really work. I may get the pin-locks... we'll see. Other than that, it's a great buy!

The screen in my opinion, is fantastic. The light smoke does what's it's supposed to, but I think after a week riding with it, the dark smoke would be even better. If you're riding directly into the sun early or late in the day, the I still have to squint and find myself wanting more tint. However, at all other times of the day, it's awesome!! Looks fantastic against my mat black RF1100 too! A bit pricey of course, but it is MUCH better than the original screen.

Average protection - there is no reinforcement in the heel or toe, but there is some extra padding in all the right places. The boot is among the most comfortable I've worn - a day or two riding/walking in them and they're completely broken in. They look AWESOME in pair of jeans - I've only had them for a couple of weeks, but have had plenty of people ask me about them - work, ride, walk they look the part. Great, slim, non-slide sole, without a huge heel. Good strap along midsection keeps laces in places, and looks good too. It should be metal, instead of plastic, and I worry about how long they'll hold up (as such, I don't "man-handle" them), but for the price, what do you expect. Foot breathes very well with a mid weight hiking sock after 5 hours on the bike. Shifter pad is holding up just fine - no real wear on it at all. The only negative is the sizing. These definitely run large - about a 1/2 size I would say. Which is really unfortunate for those of us that don't wear half sizes. I'm normally a 12, so I got the 11 per the suggestion of most reviewers, and my toes touch the end of the box. However, as I said before, they have loosened up a bit, and I don't tie them on extremely tightly, and after a couple of weeks I've decided NOT to return for the 12. Normally my foot would NEVER fit in a size 11, but the fact is they do fit in this 11, albeit snugly. I like a snug fit rather than a boot with too much room in the toe box, so I'm sticking with the 11. REALLY wish they made an 11.5 - oh well.
Aside from that, the boots are great. Will not provide racing protection, but that's not what they were made for. Average protection, for a great looking boot that you can wear all day, on and of the bike, for a very reasonable price assuming average durability. Buy em'!

True fit as far as I'm concerned. Maybe a hair on the larger end, but not enough to justify going down a size.

Yes, there is foam padding over the ankle on both sides of each boot.

What size do you recommend?
I'm 6'1", 180 lbs., with a 42 inch chest. I also have fairly long arms though (35 in. shirt sleeve) and often times size large is too short in the arms. I hate jackets that barely cover my wrist. Would I be safe with the large in this? Or would you recommend going up to the extra large?

I'm a similar build, and went with the XL. The XL fits my long arms perfectly, however, I feel like I would like the Large better if I wasn't going to use armour or a second layer underneath. However, the Large would bit slightly short in the arm, so if that's your main concern, I'd probably go with the XL, with the understanding that there will be a bit of extra material around the midsection. Still looks great unzipped around town without armour.

RF-1100 Sizing
My heads circumference measures exactly 22 inches. This falls at the end of the Small size which is 21 5/8-22 inches. Would it be better to go with a Medium or try a Small first?
Small first, for sure. I found that the ranges are accurate, at least for my shaped-head, and like most helmets, it will loosen just a bit over time as the pads break-in. Also, you can get thinner pads to give you some more room if the original one don't break in as much as you'd like. Rather have a helmet that too snug, than one that flops around on my head. Just my 2 cents.

I have a need to always wear custom fit orthotics, so it'd be great to know, thanks.
Completely removable. If you need orthotics, you're good to go with these boots.
