Just had these installed today, however I rode home in a slight drizzle & the tires held up fine. I was careful not to push them to avoid slipping on the road, but they were great. I'll update the review once I get more miles on these.

The Tiger 800 has a very odd-shaped tank so it was difficult finding a tank bag that would fit properly. This bag does the trick. I went with the magnets for ease of use. Just remember not to keep your wallet with credit cards here.
I use it to carry my dslr and other small items, glasses, etc.

The powerlet worked as expected. The only thing I would mention is that you note that this is MINI USB. I made the mistake of thinking it was MICRO USB. Nothing that couldn't be solved with a converter ($3).

I've used Alliance helmets for some time now and like the fit very much. They are very cool and well ventilated and the construction is very good. My only complaint about the Alliance is that the two vents in the chin are opened from inside the helmet with two very small knobs that are only accessible with the helmet off. Higher end Icon helmets now have sliders that can be activated with the helmet on. Icon should incorporate these in all of their helmets. Other than that, the Alliance helmets are very good.

I purchased these to replace a pair of Icon pants and I am very impressed with the construction and features. It took me a while to figure out how to remove each of the liners.
The size chart is very accurate, so I recommend measuring yourself prior to ordering. I've only worn them in the summer and they do have a decent amount of airflow, just not as you would have with other pants with more mesh.

AltRider Triumph Tiger 800XC Skid Plate Where you see riding and adventure, your engine sees rocks, ruts, and danger. Make your next ride fun by keeping it safe for the vulnerable parts of your bike install the AltRider Skid Plate for the Triumph Tiger 800 XC. Made of 1/8 inch (3.175 mm) thick anodized aluminum, it offers substantial coverage to your headers and oil filter. AltRider worked hard to incorporate their corrugated plate design, adding strength where you need it most while simultaneously protecting the fasteners and maintaining light weight. The skid plate mounts using OEM vibration isolation mounts to help absorb impact, as well as the stock bracket to keep the plate from twisting and shearing the vibration isolation mounts unnecessarily. Wherever you ride, be prepared by installing the AltRider Skid Plate for the Triumph Tiger 800 XC. Features Compatible with OEM center stand Oil plug can be accessed with skid plate installed. Skid plate needs to be removed to change the oil filter Specifications Made of 1/8 inch (3.175 mm) thick anodized aluminum Height 21 inches Width 14 inches Depth 8 inches Weight 4 lbs

I definitely wanted something lightweight as I recently helped a friend install a steel skid plate.
This skid plate is very well built and lightweight. Looks good on the bike as well. Having only installed it a few days ago I have not "tested" it yet, but I look forward to it.
Regarding installation, an extra pair of hands helps. The instructions are very clear, however it is a bit difficult to align all the screws, hold the plate, and tighten one at a time. Other than that installation took about 30 minutes.
Definitely recommended.

 Icon Alliance Helmet - Solid
Icon Alliance Helmet - Solid
Icon Alliance Solid Helmet The Icon Alliance Solid Helmet is the spirited refinement of the original Alliance SSR Helmet, its predecessor. The new Icon Alliance Helmet improves upon the original design in some key ways making it a good option for a mid-price range sport helmet. Nothing beats a solid color to emphasize the styling of a helmet and the Icon Alliance is available in a variety of colors and a Rubatone matte or gloss finish that gives the rider choice in their simplicity. This kick ass helmet packs a lot of bang for your buck which is why it is one of our favorites. All world standard, meets or exceeds the following DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (EUROPE), SAI AS1698 (AUSTRALIA) and SG (JAPAN) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI OR SG Certification stickers unless purchased from an authorized dealer in that country. I have a couple of Alliance helmets and love them. This was actually a purchase for my wife.
I find Alliance helmets to be extremely comfortable and fit my head perfectly. They are also very quiet and cool (temperature). Very well vented, keep your head cool in the summer. The padding is also very comfortable.
I highly recommend Icon Alliance helmets and will probably continue to purchase these for a long time.

I purchased these to wear with other brand heated jacket liner and they work great. Size is a bit on the smaller side so when ordering, go one size larger.
The only complaint that I have is that trying to tuck in the red liner into the jacket sleeve is a bit difficult when putting on the second glove. The red liner bunches up a bit and it´s difficult to push it into the jacket sleeve with the other gloved finger.
Other than that these are great.
