REVIT Sand 2 Jacket Those looking for a jacket to wear on an around-the-world trip need look no further than the REVIT Sand 2. The already popular Sand jacket has been improved with a bevy of innovative new features. The jacket features adjustable VCS zippers that increase ventilation by 200 percent over the originalplus, it has a wind-catcher feature integrated into the zipper for even greater airflow. The jacket is compatible with both Leatt and MOVEO neck brace systems, the latter of which conveniently stays attached when taking the jacket on and off. The Sand 2 also comes with a connection zipper. This makes it easy to connect the jacket with compatible REVIT! trousers and eliminates any gap that would allow water to creep in. With the inner membrane removed, the outer shell can be upgraded with a Challenger cooling vest insert. The Sand 2 comes with CE shoulder and elbow protection and integrated reflective panels for nighttime visibility. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell PWRshell 500D, polyester rib, polyester 600D, PWRwax 1200D, Lorica Insulation detachable thermal liner Waterproofing detachable hydratex 3L (5000mm H2O) Breathability detachable hydratex 3L (7000g/m2/24hrs) Composition Outer shell 52 polyester, 48 polyamide (colour 1500 64 Polyamide, 36 Polyester) Lining 67 polyester, 33 polyamide Thermal liner 99 polyamide, 1 polyester (insulation 100 polyester) Membrane 100 polyurethane (tricot 100 polyamide) Protection ProLife CE protection at shoulders and elbows Back Protector (sold separately) Seesoft Back Protector -Type RV Type RV / Size 04 fits SM-MD Type RV / Size 05 fits LG-2XL Type RV / Size 06 fits 3XL-4XL Visibility laminated reflection at chest, upper arms and back, laminated reflective logo at back, reflective logo at upper arms ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit Tour fit, regular Adjustability UTA tab at cuffs, flexisnap, double adjustment straps at waist, adjustment strap at under arm, adjustment tab at upper arm, adjustment drawcord at hips Ventilation VCS I zippers at front, chest, back and under arms Features prepared for Challenger Cooling vest insert, prepared for Leatt and Moveo neck brace, prepared for Vest Connector HV, hydra bag prepared, long and double short connection zipper Pockets stash pockets, membrane storage pocket, hand warmer pockets, inner pockets

The jacket is very comfortable with and without liners. I particularly like the straps that allow you to tighten or loosen the fit on the sides. All zippers are easy to operate with gloves.
It is very well ventilated without the liners. Not necessarily a complaint, but the outer shell does leak a little around zippers on the sleeves. This is really only a little uncomfortable without the rain liner. A little cool water is actually welcome in Texas 100F heat. I have not worn it in heavy rain yet.
No back protection. For a jacket in this price range I would have liked to have the back protection included. Definitely not a dealbreaker though.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I upgrade from the Q2 to the Q3 as some of the features such as the wired mic are better IMHO. I also like the ability to use my earbuds. Easy to use, same buttons as the Q2 so no learning curve. Simple to pair to other units, phone, and GPS.
My only complaint is that the speakers are very low quality. On one of the units the right speaker went out. I checked the cable & could not find any nicks or bends, so not sure where it failed. Since I bought this from an online retailer, Cardo would not offer me a replacement speaker. I had to get a replacement from the retailer.
After a few months, the right speaker has gone out again. Now I am not sure if it is me stressing the cable to the right speaker somehow, but I don't see any damage to the line on this set either.
Cardo customer service (from my experience and other reviews I have read) is not good at all. I guess this is why Sena is picking up so much traction. I will take customer service over product any day of the week.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I purchased this to power a GPS and charge my phone at the same time. It is very convenient to have two USB ports on the bike. The only issue I found is that it mounts at an angle, which on my bike may interfere with the bars if I point it forward. Other than that ti works great.

Just had these installed today, however I rode home in a slight drizzle & the tires held up fine. I was careful not to push them to avoid slipping on the road, but they were great. I'll update the review once I get more miles on these.

The Tiger 800 has a very odd-shaped tank so it was difficult finding a tank bag that would fit properly. This bag does the trick. I went with the magnets for ease of use. Just remember not to keep your wallet with credit cards here.
I use it to carry my dslr and other small items, glasses, etc.

The powerlet worked as expected. The only thing I would mention is that you note that this is MINI USB. I made the mistake of thinking it was MICRO USB. Nothing that couldn't be solved with a converter ($3).

I've used Alliance helmets for some time now and like the fit very much. They are very cool and well ventilated and the construction is very good. My only complaint about the Alliance is that the two vents in the chin are opened from inside the helmet with two very small knobs that are only accessible with the helmet off. Higher end Icon helmets now have sliders that can be activated with the helmet on. Icon should incorporate these in all of their helmets. Other than that, the Alliance helmets are very good.

I purchased these to replace a pair of Icon pants and I am very impressed with the construction and features. It took me a while to figure out how to remove each of the liners.
The size chart is very accurate, so I recommend measuring yourself prior to ordering. I've only worn them in the summer and they do have a decent amount of airflow, just not as you would have with other pants with more mesh.
