Givi Monokey 52 Liter Trekker Case
Givi Monokey 52 Liter Trekker Case
Givi Monokey 52 Liter Trekker Case The new 52 LiterTrekker bag is a great solution for adventure bikes, or just those with an adventurous spirit. Elaborately trimmed in anodized aluminum (52 liter case only), this bag is not necessarily specific to just enduro bikes, it can also be a luxurious accessory on the elegant ones. The 52 liter case dimensions are 23.6 wide x 18.1 deep x 12.4 tall and it uses a one-piece lid and will hold two modular helmets. Please Note Givi E142 Luggage Rack shown in the first and third images is sold separately.

I am very happy with this case I bought for my Super Ténéré. It looks amazing and there's room for a lot of stuff. Plus, when I'm riding with my wife, there's room for 2 helmets and a few more things.
The only "bad" thing about this product is, it's not very scratch resistant. A slight bump and you'll have a scratch on the aluminum finish...
But still, in my opinion, the best available option in the market.
Easy to open, close, instal, remove. It's definitely a fantastic product.

Givi Monokey Trekker Case 46 litre or 33 litre top-case black with aluminium finish with top opening Available in two versions, with a capacities of 46 LT ( TRK46N) and 33 LT (TRK33N), the new TREKKER bags are the best solution for the bikes equipped with exhaust pipes only on one side. Buy affixing the smaller bag to the side with the exhaust pipe , and the larger on the other, in many cases you can solve the issue of asymmetry (a problem that you might find using traditional side bags). Thanks to special selectors placed inside the bags, you can convert each version to either to fully open the entire lid or only the uppermost smaller opening (very practical for quickly accessing items from the bag, avoiding any ill timed spilling the whole contents). Elaborately trimmed in steel foil, these bags are not necessarily specific to just enduro bikes, they can also be a luxurious accessory on the elegant ones. This peculiar diversity sold in a single unique package, combined with its ability to be used as a top case on the Monokey plates, gives to the customer the opportunity to choose the best combination to mount to the bike in order to suit his/her space needs. 33 Liters 16.2 x 20.7 x 9.5 46 Liters 16.2 x 20.7 x 12.2

I am really happy that I bought a pair of 33's for my Super Tenere. I agree with all positive comments from previous reviews and I have only one thing to add... It's way too easy to scratch it. I thought the aluminum finish would be a tough nice looking feature, but I already got 3 big scratches on it... I'm careful with all my gear (my wife even jokes about it) and still got the scratches. A slight bump is enough to make you fell miserable for having a permanent memory of it.
That would be my only "bad" thing about this great product.

The good: Very comfortable, looks awesome, knee protections don't hurt you even in long trips, airflow seems to work well.
The question mark: I'm not quite sure the knee protectors would hold a strong smash on the ground... It feels like it won't. And I seriously hope I won't be the first one to try it. But I don't feel as safe as some other knee protections I've used in the past...
The bad: It's not really bad, but it can be a little inconvenient for somebody eventually. All my other bike pants were XL. Since I live in Brazil, and it wouldn't be very easy or cheap to change sizes in case it wouldn't fit, I was very lucky to decide to take the risk of buying a larger size. It's slightly tide... If it was a XL I'd have serious problems hitting the gym every day for 2 hours to lose a few pounds...
Yes, I recommend this product.

Is the insulated liner removable?

It doesn't state that the insulated line is removable. It normally is, but I want to know for sure before I pull the trigger on these for my fiancé. We do a lot of 3 season riding and will rarely need the warmth of a quilted liner in pants.
Yes, it is perfectly removable. And you can also remove another liner that comes with it, but you don't want to do that because it's what makes your pants breathe...
