I compared the RF-1100 Glacier and the Arai Vector 2. Both helmets are about the same price, about the same weight, about the same fit. Besides the subtle difference in fit and features the two helmets were nearly identical, with exception to style. I really like the pattern of the Glacier and for me that was the deciding factor.

I got these to go under my REV'IT! Airwave Pants. In theory this was a great decision because the knee armor on overpants moves around too much. And as protection for the knee/shin I think these will do a great job.
My problem with them comes in the straps. I tried wearing them with shorts, but the velcro against the leg was too scratchy. And after only about 5 times of using these, the hook on the shin strap moves around causing the strap to loosen and for the pad to slide down my leg. If I get off the bike and walk 20ft (into the store and back) the knee pad will practically be around my ankle.

I bought this jacket based on it's good reviews but when it arrived I found that I couldn't bend my arms. In one sense it could have been too small, but any bigger and the jacket wouldn't have fit the rest of my body. My guess is that if I took the lining out and wore it for a few rides in the elements the fabric would have broken in and I'd be able to bend my arms. But getting to that would involve 2 things:
1 - riding in a jacket that you can't bend your elbows in
2 - not wanting to ever add the lining back in

I first bought the Olympia AST 2 jacket, but found I couldn't bend my arms in that jacket so returned it for the Cape Town. I chose the high-viz jacket and really like the design of it. I'm 6'2" and 200lb with a size Large.
This jacket is a little bit snug, but it's breaking in well. It comes with 2 liners, one wind/waterproof and the other insulation. I've tried the different configurations with varying success. There's a lot of ventilation in the arms which keeps the jacket cool enough on warm days. And I found that adding the insulation layer without the windbreaker doesn't add much warmth since that air just blows right through. I've had one rainy ride with the jacket (without the insulation layer), and although it felt like my arms were getting wet, the jacket kept me dry through the ride.
My biggest problem with this jacket is that the collar is really big and tight. I find it way too restricting to ride with closed, and it's inconvenient and in the way when left open. It does add a bit more warmth on the cold rides though, so others might like it.

The quality of protection at the price for this glove is really something else. The bridge of the 3rd and 4th finger is really nice, and almost undetectable in regular usage. All the padding and PU sliders give the impression that there's not much more you can put on your hands to protect em and still ride comfortably.
I usually wear medium gloves, and bought the large GP+, and it's still a bit on the snug side of things. I'm also not so pleased with the breath-ability; on hot days it becomes quite stifling.
