These run small and don't have the ventelation that Joe Rocket's Phoenix jacket does, but the protection is unprecidented for the price! Hard knuckles, that are padded under neath, and the carbon fiber heal are great! The only two cons I can find are they do run small and the black dye bleeds on your hands a bit.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I live in GA and wanted more portection than jeans but, the cool comfort of shorts...... These pants make it feel like I am wearing shorts but, I know I'm portected from waist to toe! The waist tends to run small, I wear a 30 in jeans and should have gotten the meidum. In spite of the fit, I can still wear them over a pair of pants.

I needed a light colored jacket for military regulations with ample air flow to beat the hot humid summers in GA. This jacket was perfect! The added protection is a major bonous! The only thing I wish (this is true for all of the mens wear i hav efound) is if it had less black and more color!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I almost bought the 69 but was very dissipointed to find out that it didn't have the LED lights in the back, and was $50 more expensive! I opted for this modle and love it! The cheack padding is a bit tight when you first put it on but, I have worn it for about 20 hours total and it fits perfectly now ( I have a small head 22 inches and got a Sm).

What are the coolest mesh pants for the hottest days?

I already have Olympia X-Moto pants for the other three seasons (thank you- they're great). Now I'm looking for the coolest pant I can find for summer riding. Preferably an over-pant, lighter in color for heat reflection. I don't need waterproof, just cool, cool, cool. thanks!
These work great for me in 100%, 100 degree middle GA summers. I can wear shorts (or boxers!) and stay cool and safe.

Size Verification

No one really says if these pants run large, small, or true to size. I wear 34/30 jeans and would probably wear jeans underneath these pants. Would I need a large/short or a large/regular to account for jeans and ride-up?
Go a bit bigger. I wear a 30 and got the smalls but, the fit is snug in the waist.

River Road Muskogee Cool Leather Jacket TFL Cool System technology reflects up to 80 of solar rays and restricts the warming effect on leather and reduces surface temperature of the leather for improved comfort 2 front chest intake combination vents/pockets and 2 vertical rear exhaust vents keep you cool Zippered sleeve vents allow additional air flow The removable, insulated, fully-sleeved warm liner has a built-in pocket for most mobile devices Removable or upgradable EVA foam armor in the shoulders, elbows and back provides protection Zippered side gussets offer an adjustable fit and added freedom of movement in the riding position Several exterior and interior storage pockets give you plenty of storage space Reflective piping on front and back provide increased visibility Snap down mandarin collar provides a secure, comfortable fit Includes 2-year manufacturer's warranty

Experience with the River Road "Cool Leather" jackets?

I'm intrigued by the concept, but there are no user reviews, or full review by your staff... any comments on these jackets from anyone? I live in Houston, and it's plenty hot here half the year, but I still want the protection of leather (at a reasonable price) - so would appreciate any guidance on performance, fit, etc. Thanks
I'm in Middle GA, where the humidity tops 100% along with the temps in the summer. the Joe Rocket phoenix is PERFECT! The protection this jacket offers rivals any leather out there and its mesh for great air flow.

Helmet sizing

Hey there, I just received my GM68 from Revzilla, picked it up yesterday. I am having a bit of trouble with the size (I got a small)

The helmet fits snug, and I have chipmunk cheeks. I've been sized in other helmets before, and I've been told I am a small. The GM68 fits quite well, however, the bottom of my jawline is just at the bottom of the helmet guts. Should the helmet fit a bit lower than my jawline? Please help, thanks.
Fahid, I to wear a small and bought the white 68. The cheaks were tight and I felt like my jaw was too low. The cheek pads wore in as the helmet broke in, 5 days of several hours each day riding, the whole face now fits comfortably, but not loose. The jaw I noticed as well, but when I looked in a mirrioe I noticed the helmet was sitting to far back on my head. After adjusting it (pulling the front down till the top pads rested on my sunglasses) it felt great, and my jaw didn't feel exposed. Hope that helps!
