I love these gloves. They are very comfortable. You certainly don't get a lot of air flow with your hands wrapped around the grips, but open them up and the air really flows! And as far as the glove being waterproof... Well, I rode through a heavy downpour this morning for about 30 miles on my way to work, and my hands where bone dry, and relatively warm to boot, when I arrived. The little squeegee on the left index finger is a real plus too.

Scorpion EXO-500 Skull Helmet The Scorpion EXO-500 immediately catches the eye with its innovative design, enhanced by a superb sharp ridge on the underside of the shell. Inspired by its older brother, the Scorpion EXO-1000 , the EXO 500 Helmet is based on the GT philosophy and is fitted as standard with the last generation visor of its elder. And as if that were not enough, it integrates the SpeedView built-in retractable sunvisor treated with anti-fog coating on both sides. Two accessories usually reserved for high-end helmets! Comprising 3 caps and a lighter and more durable shell than its predecessor, fitted with a very soft and comfortable inner lining thanks to the new KwikWick2 liner and triple density foam cheek pads, the Scorpion EXO 500 Helmets will drastically change your expectations from a full face helmet of the standard range. Equipped with the revolutionary Airfit technology and a state-of-the-art ventilation system, chances are the new Scorpion will steal the show from the much more expensive helmets among those daily users who want to buy the best helmet for the best price. Features Kwikwick2 Liner - moisture wicking, hypoallergenic, removable, machine washable, soft SpeedView Retractable sunvisor - treated with antifog on both sides Airfit technology - Inflate and deflate the cheek pads to make it fit perfectly- this provides a better fit thus better safety and shock absorption. Speedshift visor system for extremely quick visor changes EverClear no-fog visor Optically-correct aero-tuned shield with state-of-the art fog-free technology and anti-scratch hardened coating. Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Engineered Shell Quiet, aero-tuned design for wind-tunnel tested comfort. EPS-lined chin bar for additional protection. The helmet stays cool in the hot and humid weather which is a plus during the summer in the northeast. The flip down sun visor is awesome, though i will probably buy a darker one. The graphics are sweet too. The check pads were a little tight at first but they wore in after a few hours of riding. Love this helmet!

I just started riding, in fact, I picked up my first motorcycle from the dealership today. I wanted a leather jacket for the protection, but i wanted it to be well vented for summer riding. Well, this jacket fit the bill. it was 85 degrees with 60% humidity today and I stayed nice and cool. With the removable liner I imagine I will be able to stretch the jacket out into the fall. All the hardware seems first class and the leather itself is suble right out of the box and will break in nicely. Also, there are plenty of pockets for your stuff in the jacket and in the liner. I would highly recommend this jacket!
