As you would guess for Dianese: these pants look really good. They are a heavier, bulky pant for cold weather as they state. Even though they are bulky they fit snug. So if you have to wear something like a snow pant: they fit tighter and don't appear to be too bulky. I have only had the chance to wear them with temperatures down to 45 degrees and no sun. The were very warm and I only wear motorcycle undershorts with them. I would imagine if i was going to be riding in temperatures in the 30's; that i would wear long johns under them.

if i lived in an area where condensation on the inside of my face shield was an issue; this might be a good value. In AZ, the dark tint is too light. it is lighter than Arai's dark smoke. the insert does not cover the full surface of the lens; therefore some natural light comes in. this makes the lens even brighter. my wife would have to wear sunglasses under the smoked lens. I am going to see if i can get the regular lenses. if the regular lenses are not available: i will be buying a different brand of helmet for my wife next year.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I wanted a pair of vented pants that fit snugger through the legs. Most pants end up looking like snow pants. These pants were shaped to fit my body. I didn't mind wearing them off the bike.

Do the vents direct air directly to the body, or to the liner? Do the pants have a hight waist?
When is Dainese going to make a zip out Gore-Tex liner? Dainese are you listening? At least provide us with multiple direct venting options through the Gore-Tex membrane, there must be technology for that!
the vents direct air to the liner which would have the same effect if it is cooler out. these are not pants for the 70's and up. they have a high waist and a zip out bib style back that makes the back even higher.
