I've been looking at getting a modular helmet for some time now and after learning about the Shark Evoline series a few years ago I've really wanted one. Mostly for the ease and style of the helmet and the open face conversion process.
When I got the helmet it fit well, and after a few weeks it's started to get more comfortable. The flip-face function of this helmet is the only reason why someone would be interested in it, and it delivers. The helmet feels great both open and closed (although when closed it is noticeably more snug.) The helmet isn't too heavy either, it has little difference in weight to my girlfriend's HJC CL-max.
Overall I am extremely happy with this helmet and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a mid-range modular.

How forgiving is the size chart? The XL Evoline maxes out at 24.4, but my head measures 24.5-6.

I have a large head too. My previous helmet was an HJC in an XXL. I ordered the XL and I can almost guarantee you that you will fit it. Also, the padding loosens up a bit over time.
