Shark Evoline 3 ST Century Helmet Sharks masterpiece continues on its evolution. Never has a helmet given you such options between street/road riding, open or full face. Improvements to the Series 3 include Easier manipulation of the chinbar thanks to the Auto-Up system. The unique motion of the Evoline remains unchanged and has become even more natural with the Series3. The Auto-Up system has been simplified - chinbar and main shield are now united in a single movement. Fabrics, finish and style. The interior of the Evoline Series 3 has been totally redesigned and is softer, better and more comfortable. Brand new ventilation design fore and aft. Overall lower weight has been decreased by approximately 200 grams. Features Lexan Polycarbonate shell Shark Easy Fit system for comfortable use with glasses Sharktooth ready Integrated drop down sun shield Removable and washable CoolMax liner ECE 2205 approved with chinbar in both open and closed position ECE 2205 and DOT approved

This is currently my favorite helmet after one slight modification.
I have an oval head and the fit is more towards round than oval by default. First I thought the fit is fine, snug but not too tight. But after a hour on the road at 70mph I saw a huge indention on my forehead. Moreover, at speed higher than 60mph there was a noticable draft.
After a couple of tries I found this a quick workaround for both issues. If you take off the inner liner you see a styrofoam patch glued to the front. I simply cut that in half and placed each piece above the temples. This way the forehead has more room and the sides have less. Perfect fit for my oval head!
Other than that the modular function is simply awesome. And at this price the helmet is a steal. Get it now!
Just FYI, my favorite helmet before was the Arai XC-Ram.
Yes, I recommend this product.

great helmet! The best feature is how aerodynamic it is. On my naked bike I can turn my head with no drag even at 60mph

DOT approved?

The Evoline 2 was marked as DOT approved, but at least in the description I see nothing regarding DOT. Is the version 3 DOT approved?
