Kaoko Throttle Lock Triumph Tiger 800 / 800XC / Explorer 1200 / XC / Street Triple / R The Kaoko Cruise Control is perfect for anyone looking to reduce fatigue and strain on your hand and wrist during long distance highway riding. Each Throttle Lock consists of a simple, ingenious and robustly designed friction nut that is integrated with a special Kaoko bar end weight. The Kaoko bar end weight is closely matched in appearance and weight to the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) bar end weight. The Friction Nut has a left-hand thread. It must be adjusted so that it makes light contact with the rubber throttle sleeve. The Grub Screw is set to provide the necessary resistance on the friction nut. This may be adjusted periodically to take up wear. To Engage Twist the throttle and friction nut simultaneously with your right hand. This action tightens the nut and provides sufficient friction to set throttle to the desired position. The friction nut is designed that the rider may still open and close the throttle. To Disengage Roll off the throttle while gripping the friction nut. The throttle should open and snap closed freely. Incredibly easy to fit. You don't notice it's there when you don't need it. On longer trips it reduces fatigue in your hand and allows you to stretch your upper body more easily. Simple to engage and disengage.

They were very easy to fit, even for someone with little knowledge in adding accessories to their bike (i.e. me). I had to take off the right hand panels on my Tiger 800 XC in order to slightly re-route the clutch cable, to free up a bit of slack, but that wasn't a problem. For a video tutorial on how to fit them to a Tiger, search for Muddy Sump on youtube. He has lots of great tips.

My previous phone had two holders. A summer one and a waterproof one (which overheated my phone on sunny days). I also had to remove my phone's protective case in order for it to fit into these holders. They also don't fit my new phone. My new phone fits this RAM phone holder even with it's protective case. It will still work if I change to a waterproof case. It will still work when I change my phone again. I use it in the landscape move for extra security, but it still feels secure in the portrait mode.

The slip-on exhaust looks and feels very high quality. It's so much lighter than the OEM exhaust. I've not removed the dB killer, but still the sound is amazing without being too loud. The burble on overrun is my favorite part. I can't say I've noticed any increase in power or torque, but I bought it for the sound and weight saving. I'm sure a Dyno would show an improved curve. I have no experience with fitting aftermarket parts but I found it incredibly easy to install.
I'd imagine durability is great, but I can't say just yet, that's why I only gave 4 stars.

My head size was right in the middle between Medium and Large. Revzilla recommended I go with the Large and it fits perfectly. Buffeting from visor is minimal when looking over shoulder at 60mph, certainly not enough to cause any problems. Difficult to notice the visor was even there most of the time, except when it kept the sun out of my eyes. Padding is comfortable and easy to remove. Removable chin curtain is perhaps a bit too big, making it tricky to drink from a camalbak while riding. Once removed, drinking on the move is easy. Overall, great helmet.
