This is built well. Thick/sturdy metal. BUT installed on my 2014 Dyna low rider - the way it mounts in the back with the RSD bracket on the outside of the HD bike bracket, causes the Belt guard not to actually fully cover the belt in the rear. It's fine in the front but as the piece moves to the rear it starts to only partially cover the belt. By the time you get to the rear part it leave about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch of the belt uncovered. I checked into mounting the belt cover to the rear of the HD bracket but that bind the cover against the drive/belt pulley. Would not recommend this to anyone else unless they can live with the belt not actually being covered/the belt cover looking like it's crooked.

These do work but what I have found is the angle (the bat wing like bend) does interfere with free hand movement. There;s not enough clearance between the pointed part of the lever and the grip. For example, if I set them such that I can grip the lever easily the pointed part of the lever hits/sits on my index finger knuckle. This is especially true with thicker winter gloves. The levers do have give (a spring) so they move outward. But this means when my hand is on the grip completely, the pointed part of the lever sits on my index finger knuckle. When I go to release the grip and use the lever, the pointed part (and lever) is pushed out by my knuckle then moves back in so I can grip it. This is a bit irritating. The compromise is to move the lever out more and stretch my hand a bit more than I would want for an ideal lever location. This may not be an issue for many but it is for me. Perhaps RS will change the design to have less of a bat wing appearance there.

Scorpion SAS-TEC Replacement Shoulder/Elbow/Knee Armor SAS-TEC armor is made of a polyurethane foam material, without a hard shell or edges, which surpasses the required CE values by 50. The closed air cells function by means of progressive absorption the material is soft and flexible in its normal state but a sudden impact will cause the protectors to harden and absorb the impact without transmitting the force to the body. Bought this armor to fit the jeans I bought. They are pretty good - low profile (not too bulky) and are light weight (don't weigh your pant down).

Fit is true to size chart. I would say these do not actually fit like 501's as those tend to have narrow thighs. These have a more relaxed thigh area that 501's but they are not baggy. Armor: - which is sold separately - the hip armor is not noticeable once off the bike but the knee armor is. Since these are 3/4 lined with kevlar they do not flow much air. For me that's ok. They are nice looking jeans with the protection I was looking for.

This jacket is very nice. However, I will say that the lower arms in the jacket seem like they would be tight for a male or if my arms were more muscular, at least until the jacket breaks in some. The armor (sold separately) fits very well and is fairly low key. With the elbow armor in, the arms are tight. I expect they will loosen up over time/with break-in.
On Fit - I'm female with a 39" bust, 32" waist, 38" hips - the small fits well but it is not form fitting past the bust. When standing the fit in the torso is fairly loose on me (gives room for any gut) but when on the bike it allows for the jacket to sit well (not push up around the shoulders etc.) with room for a gut as well. On durability - of course I can't speak to this but it seems very well made. On protection - the leather is good, the armor (sold separately) is also good. I have not tested the protection and hope I don't but it is leather and has armor available. On airflow- it is none perfed leather. I rode with it in 50 degree weather and was impressed that there was very little air flowing into the jacket even with the collar unbuttoned and not zipped all the way up.

As one reviewer said - this is a motorcycle boot. It is storm trooper style. That having been said - it is a great boot. Great protection (not for the track), excellent leather build and craftsmanship, warm and water proof. Another reviewer said it's not too hot in warm weather - that's subjective. I live in the Austin Texas area and if it's above 80 degrees my feet will sweat in these (they are gortex). The boot sole is stiff so walking in these for any length of time would not be a great idea. They are comfortable though for short walks but not walking for several blocks (say more than 1/4 mile). I found the fit spot on - look at the sizing guide. Airflow - well they are not summer boots.

I ride both a cruiser and a sport bike. I bought this helmet primarily because I needed a light color helmet for summer riding and I really likes the SHARP rating this helmet got. I have a shoie gt air and a shoie qwest as well. This shark helmet has superior aerodynamics and is a lot lighter than the other two helmets mentioned above. The air flow isn't bad without the chin curtain (removable). It is also a lot more comfortable - better quality interior but still a tight race fit (which I really like in my helmets) but it's not as restricting as the gt air is. The built in sun visor come down lower so no irritating bright strip at the bottom of your view. AS others have mentioned the shield latch is a bit hard to open (or feel) with gloves on and there are no detentes (I knew this going in and have no issue with not having them). The shield is pin lock ready and does come with a clear pin lock shield - there's some confusion in the reviews about this. All in all I have no real cons except the shield latch being hard to find or open with gloves.

The fit is true to size. Be advised it does say to hand wash. From what I've read the kevlar is not the issue (*according to dupont). Perhaps it says that because they are 100% cotton and will shrink. I planned on that so bought 32s in this product. I generally wear 31x32 levis 505's. After washing, these fit just a tad larger in the waist that my regular levis.
I have no complaints - needed something a little more protective than regular jeans that I could wear all day long at work. These fit the bill.

I purchased the black. These boots are really very well made. The leather is quite thick and of good quality. They are also very nice looking if you are going for the work boot style. They are definitely boots though so if you like tennis shoe styles these...work boots.
Those fit perfectly out of the box for me. For some perhaps the ankle area would need to loosen some. The toe box is quite roomy which for me translates into comfortable.
As for protection and durability...these are not armored except for the plastic toe box and maybe some light hard ankle protection but the layering of the leather I would expect to really hold up well in a crash scenario. I expect due to the quality the durability should be there.
With the light perforation these do not get too hot and I have ridden with them for a couple hours on a 98 degree sunny Texas day. Make no mistake though, they do not flow air. I was just surprised my feet didn't sweat more than they did.
Overall these are very nice looking work style boots, comfortable and have decent protection for a low boot.
Yes, I recommend this product.
