This is not the first balaclava that I have used but is definitely the best. The front bib does its job and blocks all wind from the neck area with no leaks or drafts. It fits comfortably on the head and does not have any thick seems to create pressure points under your helmet.
Despite having a mesh area around the mouth and nose to exhale through, I do notice an increased tendency to fog my visor when stopped or travelling very slowly. Overall its a quality balaclava that does everything its supposed to.

REVIT Seesoft Back Protector Insert The revolutionary new REVIT See Soft CE-Level 2 back protector is designed to absorb multiple impacts without compromising on comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement. The highly impact-resistant blend of Nitrille and Polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE Certified to the highest level of prEN 1621-22010 level 2. In the case of severe angular impact, the individual Memory Foam layers will shift relative to one another, resulting in impact dispersion over a larger effective surface area and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back. The Seesoft back protector performs extremely consistently in all weather conditions and is unaffected by temperature ranges from -4 F to +104 F (-20 C to +40 C). Most REV'IT jackets are designed to accommodate a Seesoft CE Level 2 back protector insert. Newer jackets will have a marking on the protector pocket that indicates the matching type and size of the protector. For additional information, please see the Seesoft Back Protector Insert Fit Chart (pdf) .

I purchased the Seesoft KN106 to upgrade the armor in my Rev'It Airwave jacket.
The Seesoft is obviously a huge upgrade over the foam back that comes with the Airwave and fits the pocket nicely. Any decrease in airflow after installing the Seesoft was unnoticeable and it wears very comfortably.
I like how soft and pliable this protector is, which no-doubt contributes to how comfortable it is to wear. I hope I never have to test its protection abilities but I feel better knowing its there and have no doubt that it was a worthy upgrade to the stock pad.
Yes, I recommend this product.

REV'IT! Airwave Pants The perfect match for the REV'IT! Airwave jacket, these trousers are also great over-pants to wear on top of your jeans during summer commutes. The large air mesh panels allow for maximum cooling, but that's not all they're on and off in seconds, thanks to the long inside zippers. Reflective panels at the lower legs ensure great visibility at all times. Even more, the Knox Flexiform CE-approved armor is located in height adjustable pockets, allowing you to position the armour just the way you like it. Available in classic black or fresh silver. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell polyester 600D , PWRshell 500D stretch, PWRshell mesh, polyester rib Visibility laminated reflection at calf Protection Knox Flexiform CE protection at knees, prepared for TRYONIC Seesoft CE-level 1 type B hip protector insert - version RV01 ( sold separately ) ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit , regular Adjustability adjustment straps at waist, adjustment tab at ankles Ventilation ventilation panels at legs Features easy entrance zipper at calf, adjustable protector pockets, short connection zipper, elastic at waistband Pockets slit pockets

I purchased the Airwave pants and jacket together and they have been a great combination for those really warm days.
I found the pants fit small, particularly in the legs. I have muscular thighs and had to go up a size from what was indicated in the sizing chart to accommodate. There was enough waste adjustment however to compensate for the bigger size so they fit really nicely.
Protection seems adequate but I question how well they would stand up to a get-off abrasion-wise since they do flow so much air.
Overall I think they are great pants at a decent price and paired with the Airwave jacket they make an awesome combo for those hottest of summer days.

I purchased the Airwave pants and jacket and they are a great combination for those really warm summer days.
As advertised, they flow a ton of air and I have to think you couldn't really get much cooler and still be wearing proper gear. That being said, the jacket has armor in all the right places (I upgraded to the Seesoft back protector and highly recommend it!) but with all that airflow I have to think there are compromises on protection.
I find the fit of the jacket to be spot on with the sizing guide. I am disappointed that the neck adjustment is very limited. I guess I have a big neck and find it uncomfortably tight with the top snap done up.
I think the styling is great and went with the HiViz option, which is done very tastefully. I like the added visibility without the 'school crossing guard' look but it may not be enough HiViz coverage for the safety purists.
Overall its a great jacket and paired with the pants makes a fantastic setup for the hottest of days.

Being comfortable and having a proper fitting helmet is obviously important so its nice having the option of tailoring the fit of your shiney new helmet.
Having to fork out extra money after an already expensive helmet purchase kinda sucks but at least if you bought your helmet here at Revzilla you can use your Revzilla cash to ease the pain a bit. These cost me $12 out of pocket after buying my helmet so that's not too bad overall I suppose...

Shoei Neotec Borealis Modular Helmet The Neotec Borealis graphic offers a high-vis option to the Neotec lineup. Evolving on previous designs, Shoei has revamped its modular helmet style with a streamlined and attractively sculpted shape that conveys the feel of freely moving through the outdoors in the Shoei Neotec Modular Helmet. Overall shell size is kept compact by incorporating the internal sun visors open/close mechanism inside all ventilation mechanisms are shaped and positioned in such a way as to reduce any possible drag. A redesigned aerodynamic spoiler also helps to cut lift, reducing neck strain on long, cross country rides. In the Shoei Neotec all these features combine to create a premium helmet that excels in appearance, protection, comfort and performance. The Shoei Neotec Borealis Helmet's chin bar is connected to the same axis point and mechanism as its shield, minimizing extra parts. This also enables simultaneous closing of the shield with the chin bar, which is then held in place with an easy-open lock release button. The shield lock system offers secure closure or the ability to keep the shield slightly open to allow for increased airflow. With the Shoei Neotec Helmet, Shoei now includes a built-in sun shield, the QSV-1. The visor tucks neatly away beneath a non-intrusive shell built into the helmets liner, and can be lowered with the easy control of a sliding button. Face Shield Features Easily operable lever mechanism Anti-fog, anti-scratch, 99 UV blocking New Pinlock-ready CNS-1 faceshield Wider and taller than the CX-1V that it replaces Includes Pinlock insert 3D injection molding process ensures a distortion-free view Improved Ventilation and Aerodynamics Newly designed vortex generators pull air through helmet 276 more airflow than Multitec Added inlets and outlets Vents are flush against helmet to maintain aerodynamics 5-Ply Shock-Absorbing Fiber Shell 3 shell sizes AIM Multi-Composite construction Lightweight yet strong Shell-integrated spoiler reduces lift and drag during high-speed riding Dual EPS Liner Multi-density EPS for optimal protection Two vents funnel fresh air through the EPS liner Dual liner channels route and disperse air evenly throughout the helmet EPS liner in chin bar All new interior Fully removable 3D interior liner Top center pad is removable and washable Improved cheekpad design allows better fit with eyeglasses Included chin curtain can be inserted into the chin bar to reduce turbulence and noise All Neotec Helmets sold in the US have a double D-ring closure Note Helmet is gloss finish. I was debating my next helmet purchase all winter so I did a fair amount of research and settled on the Neotec. I had high expectations and the Neotec met or exceeded all of them.
It looks fantastic in the Borealis graphic with a deep glossy finish and really nice gold flake pin-striping. The fit was tight at first but didn't take long to break in. I used my Revzilla cash from the helmet to pick up the 31mm cheekpads for only a couple bucks so that eased the sting of having to fork out even more $$$ to get the proper fit. I can't comment on the fit with the stock cheekpads because I had no disillusions going in that my face was anything but chubby. With the 31mm pads the fit was excellent, maybe a bit tight around the ears but I know there is a pad behind the ears that is removeable. I used the measurement guide and the fit was excellent out of the box.
The airflow is great and I like that adjusting the airflow on the upper vent from full to half actually makes a noticeable difference. The front intake vents to the shield and did an okay job of keeping the shield clear when I rode in the first morning and had not installed the pinlock lens. Pinlock went in the next morning and its been fog free ever since.
I love the internal sun visor and simply couldn't ride without one now. I wear eyeglasses and the ability to instantly switch from clear to tint and back is so nice. The interior is indeed more glasses friendly than typical as advertised.
Overall this is a fantastic helmet, the only thing I can call a negative is the cost.

I was expecting a lot when I ordered this backpack due to its price but it actually exceeded my expectations.
I own a Kriega US30 so I am familiar with the Kriega reputation for outstanding quality and construction and the R30 is just about perfect. Two large outer pockets provides utility and ease of access. Essentially my only complaint is that the outer pockets have stiff water resistant zippers that dont function well one-handed. I'm hoping long use will wear them in but there are fairly beefy so I wont hold my breath.
Another nice feature is the 3 sets of left/right straps that allow you to secure a delicate load or cinch the bag down against a small load. One of the great things about this bag is that it holds a lot of gear at 30L but when its only 1/4 full it cinches down really well and doesnt feel or look like a 30L bag.
And now to the best feature of the bag, the harness. Its the best I've owned or used or ever tried on... Its really that good. When properly adjusted the load disappears while riding. I can't comment on its long distance touring comfort and I'm not sure I ever will as I have my US30 for touring. The R30 is my everyday commuting pack and I suspect it will be around for a long time considering the outstanding built quality and top grade materials.
The price is really a negative worth mentioning because its quite an expensive backpack. That being said, if you really value comfort, quality and take care of your gear, then the Kriega R30 is definitely an investment worth making.
Yes, I recommend this product.

It's been one season that I have been riding with these gloves and in summary, I really like them but doubt they will last more than 2 seasons.
The gloves are very light, breathe well, and provide great tactile feel. My only complaint is the apparent durability of the gloves. After one season they are showing signs of wear already, particularly around the wrist strap where the velcro on the strap often catches and frays the material on the back of the wrist.
I can't comment on the protection they might provide in a crash but they are a light summer glove and the leather on the palm area does not appear overly thick.

These are great cool weather touring gloves. They are comfortable and warm and the build quality is very good. They do need some breaking in, particularly in the pinky area where I think the extra material makes it a bit stiffer.
I would not recommend them in temperatures above 20C. I've worn them down to 5C and they were very comfortable.

I really have nothing bad to say about this bag...
- the anchor straps installed very easily on my Ninja 650
- the bag is easy to take off/put on the bike
- it holds a lot of stuff, more than I thought it would
- the finish is pure quality and it looks like a piece of gear that I will have for quite some time
- acts as a great base for adding more bags in the Kriega US line
