I have had no issues with my xbi2. My buddy and I have them and love the communication advantage. We both have them paired up with our Android phones for both calls and music. Sound does suffer at highway speeds and callers complain of echo, but benefits far outweigh disadvantages. I would recommend to anyone that wants to be able to listen to music or communicate with other riders. Can easily go 6 hours of steady music and talking.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Studied up but still confused....

Now I already know that my iPhone 3G recognizes bluetooth devices which makes me wonder why I would need a bluetooth adapter. My 3G works the same way as the phone used to demonstrate how to get a smartphone to recognize the X-bi2-H in the video, good vid, BTW. So again, do I really need a bluetooth adapter for an iPhone 3G to work the Chatterbox X-bi2-H?
No, you do not need an adapter to sync up your ipod or iphone. Earlier devices, especially the ipod touch, did not come with built in bluetooth, but they all do now. I have used an ipod touch, as well as an Android phone, with no issues at all. Works great!
