These gloves have great features and great protection. The sizing is definitely Euro as I wear a Large in most gloves, but an XL in these. In fact, the gloves still felt a bit small for the first couple hundred miles. They are now fully broken-in and feel great. The comfort and airflow is what we come to expect from Alpinestars...excellence. And for the money they can't be beat.

This is an excellent helmet...really at any price. Because it's not a "race" helmet, the styling queues are subtle, but nice. The drop down sun visor has the perfect tint even in direct sunlight and has great coverage area. The clear visor is incredibly solid. The thickness Shark chose gives you an extra sense of security and it doesn't feel "floppy" when opening and closing. And when you have both the clear visor and sun visor down it doesn't feel like you're looking through two different pieces.
This is one of the quietest helmets I've worn (and I've used several from Shark, Arai, Shoei and HJC). Of course, one of the reasons it's so quiet is because there aren't many vents...which is the only semi-negative thing I can say about this helmet. But when stopped at a light you can always flip the clear visor up and let in a little more air and still keep the sun visor down to keep the sun out of your eyes. (Note, I don't suggest riding like this because the airflow hits you strange and makes a crazy whistling noise)
Other online and video reviews of this helmet are spot on. The fit/shape is more of a Round to Round/Oval and that's typical for Shark. The durability...well...I actually hope to never have to truly test it...but you can see and feel the quality.

Is this helmet only for use with a naked bike or would it still be usuable for a full faired bike?
Would the fairing on a sport bike make the helmet more or less stable?
This helmet would be great for any type of bike. I think Shark speaks of it as a "naked bike" helmet to distinguish it from a "race" helmet. Now don't get me wrong, it could be used on the track as well, but without the extra ventilation I wouldn't suggest it.
