REV'IT! Airwave Pants The perfect match for the REV'IT! Airwave jacket, these trousers are also great over-pants to wear on top of your jeans during summer commutes. The large air mesh panels allow for maximum cooling, but that's not all they're on and off in seconds, thanks to the long inside zippers. Reflective panels at the lower legs ensure great visibility at all times. Even more, the Knox Flexiform CE-approved armor is located in height adjustable pockets, allowing you to position the armour just the way you like it. Available in classic black or fresh silver. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell polyester 600D , PWRshell 500D stretch, PWRshell mesh, polyester rib Visibility laminated reflection at calf Protection Knox Flexiform CE protection at knees , prepared for TRYONIC Seesoft CE-level 1 type B hip protector insert - version RV01 ( sold separately ) ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit , regular Adjustability adjustment straps at waist, adjustment tab at ankles Ventilation ventilation panels at legs Features easy entrance zipper at calf, adjustable protector pockets, short connection zipper, elastic at waistband Pockets slit pockets

Airflow is king with these pants. You have very good padding and armor on the knees and hip without a lot of extra weight or bulk. The mesh allows a LOT of air through, which considering the hot summer we just had is exactly what the doctor ordered! Naturally, the amount of cool air hitting your body will depend on your bike and riding position, but this is a great way to cool down. My only complaint with this gear is it reminds me not eat too much fast food on long trips...it's very snug, so if you want a bit more breathing room, buying a larger size will make you very happy. Very good quality, style and protection without a lot of weight or cost. Definitely recommended.

Very good jacket with plenty of airflow. Fits very well, if a bit large. Adequate straps, buttons and adjustments make it easy to fit to different body types. Bought the white/silver and it indeed stays noticeably cooler than my black 3 season jacket even with all its mesh exposed. I find the collar is a bit stiff and can chafe your neck depending on your riding position, but it is a minor concern. The protection on the arms and shoulders is very good, but the back foam is next to useless. Upgrade to a proper spine-pad or a stand alone back protector if you can afford it!
