This is, not surprisingly, a perfect fit for the Air-Frame jacket, and very comfortable. It does create a small but obvious bump/ridge at the top of the back--but that's probably just as much a function of the styling of that jacket (trim cut, very clean lines) as the armor material and thickness/contour. Not a deal-breaker for me at all.

This is a jacket with enough ventilation for a hot day (90+, so far), with armor that manages to be unobtrusive, and a very understated, classy design.
Sizing... I am 5'7" and wear a US size 4 or 6, depending on the designer/cut. The 46 fits perfectly--right length, armor sits in the right places, and if I want it a little tighter, snaps at the waist, wrist, and elbow make that possible.
I ordered the Air G Level 2 back protector, as well--that creates a little bit of a turtle shell look, but if you don't mind letting people know that you value your spine, it's not a big deal. :)
Nice work, Dainese... am definitely going to order the Drake Air pants next.

I wear a US 9.5/Euro 41--I'm true to size; I can almost never wear a 9, and a 10 is almost invariably too long. Tried these on at a store that had only a 10/42, and while they seemed almost okay width-wise, I wasn't keen on the idea of having so much extra shoe beyond my toes (especially when it came to shifting).
Ordered these in a 9.5/41, and the length is perfect. At first they were *very* tight across the foot. (Italian shoes are narrower than shoes made in Northern Europe, period.) But assuming you've gotten the *length* right, here's what to do: put on the thinnest pair of socks you have, get them (the socks) wet/pretty darn damp, and (maybe with the help of a shoehorn) put the boots on. Wear them for a few hours like that. The next day, do the same thing, but with a slightly heavier sock. After only two iterations of that, they fit me fine... I was able to take them out on a ride today!
They look great, but more importantly for me, they're not so long and not so substantial/bulky that I have trouble knowing where my foot is relative to the shifter. I'll eventually work up to something with more protection, but for now--going on tiny rides at moderate speeds while I get to know my bike--these are great.
The black is not smooth, shiny leather--it looks more like nubuck. The brown is a lovely reddish brown and is smooth leather, not nubuck. IMHO, the brown is the more attractive shoe.

How is the ankle protection?
Does the Sacred low incorporate any ankle protection features? Love the visual appeal, but I'm buying a boot for protection, you know? :-)
Nope--just whatever the leather (fairly thick, fairly stiff) will provide. So not much :(
