- Firstgear HT overpants integrated well with my Firstgear Rush Mesh Jacket. Makes an easy to get into a 2x piece suit to do general daily commuting that looks good.
- Fully dressed in and out time (including jacket and liners) is about +/- 45 seconds.
- Offers fair protection for the price and functionality. Defiantly not as technical piece of equipment compared to more single layer pants. But there is always a slight trade off.
- Waterproof/windproof liner works well. Easy to get liner in and out. +/- 2 minutes total time. Compact travel size once out.
- In light showers good waterproofing offered. I have not been caught in a big rainstorm yet to see if these hold up to a real test.
- Have about 1,350+ miles in these pants on 70% highway and 30% dirt trails goat tracks. No deterioration at this point. Holding up well.
- Good airflow so you don't get too hot from wearing two layers of pants.
- Only change I would make is to have an adjustment to better hold the knee armor inplace, or a more substantial armor that would wrap around for your knees. (Downfall of an overpant vs. single layer I guess)

Is the seat of these 250 denier mesh only or is there some extra reinforcement?
Only the pant layers and the liner if it is inserted. - Still comfortable on the ride but no additional armor in them.
