Let me start off by saying I have experience with the 2 versions of the misano latitude as well as the overland jackets.
This version looks better then the misano ones, but does not vent as well. Fit is similar to the Chinese run of the misano jackets. So they are not sized as large as the Vietnamese run.
Sizing I am 185 5'10. I find the large fits best with layers and the medium fits best with no layers. I have the same problem many people do with klim. Their jackets jump up 2 sizes instead of 1. Their lineup has become really cluttered, they should make more sizes for staple products instead of having 10 different jackets with the only difference between models being an additional adjustable strap or one more vent.
Now the quality on this jacket is about the best youll find. Its a great fall, winter, early spring jacket. Can stretch it to late spring if you live in an area of low humidity. High humidity and 70 degrees youll probably want to look elsewhere. It simply does not vent well. The side vents are now covered with a flap so no air gets in. The arm vents work well. The back vent being horizontal is covered by the back pad making it useless. Klim needs to add 2 vertical exhaust vents to this jacket.
They already have a great latitude jacket model called the altitude. The female version is simply better. You get 2 vertical exhaust vents, pit vents with no flap covering them, the front pockets just like the old misano double as huge vents, and a far superior system to hold the collar open. As is, i feel the overland is the best men's jacket in the lineup barring the badlands (which is to heavy duty for me). The overland vents better then the latitude simply because of the vertical exhaust vents. You open up that collar and air flows in and out.
Even with all the negatives, if you are looking for a cold weather laminate jacket this is probably the best youll find given the price. Way cheaper then rukka. But if you want better venting and to save $200 get yourself an overland even though it doesnt look as good.

My only gripe with the level 2 d3o pads is they are just not as good as the sas-tec stuff. Both still protect you about the same. Sas-tec tests slightly better. But the d3o is heavier, not as flexible, not as large, and the shape is not as comfortable as the sas-tec stuff. Revzilla needs to start carrying the sas-tec protectors. Also would be great if rev'it started selling their new protectors as they are probably lighter then the sas-tec and d3o by a good amount.

REVIT Seesoft Back Protector Insert The revolutionary REVIT See Soft CE-Level 2 back protector is designed to absorb multiple impacts without compromising on comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement. The highly impact-resistant blend of Nitrille and Polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE Certified to the highest level of prEN 1621-2:2010 level 2. In the case of severe angular impact, the individual Memory Foam layers will shift relative to one another, resulting in impact dispersion over a larger effective surface area and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back. The Seesoft back protector performs extremely consistently in all weather conditions and is unaffected by temperature ranges from -4 F to +104 F (-20 C to +40 C). Most REV'IT jackets are designed to accommodate a Seesoft CE Level 2 back protector insert. Newer jackets will have a marking on the protector pocket that indicates the matching type and size of the protector. It doesn't matter what jacket you have, this is the back protector to use over d3o and sas-tec. All three test about the same, the difference is this back protector is much lighter then the other two. The weight difference is huge. Also this material is far more flexible. All things that greatly increase the comfort factor.

This is a good jacket. Very comfortable with decent venting options. Good protection as well. Most other reviewers went over whats great about this jacket so i am going to talk about what isnt so great.
While the collar is improved over the 880 version, it still is too tall of a collar and can be annoying. The exhaust vent limits the air flow. Since it is horizontal it is completely covered by a back protector. Limiting exhaust greatly limits the ventura effect of airflow. It should have been 2 vertical vents just like the female version. Another not so great feature is closing and opening the pit and back vents. It is very difficult to close the pits and very difficult to open or clothes the back vent. If they would have made the zipper slider larger like a roadcrafter would have been much easier.
Even with all these negatives, it still is a good jacket. Airflow is good enough to about 80 with all vents open. Jacket is waterproof. Good protection. Also while not listed in the list of features, you can keep the collar open and unzip the jacket from the top for more airflow.
Sizing, I am 5'9 180lbs, medium fits well. Any larger and would need a large. Negative is if you dont have long arms the large will not fit properly.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have about 2500 miles on these tires now, not the first time i have had them nor will it be the last. They hold up great even though i commute as much as i do on the slab, still no sign of squaring. I ride 5 days a week 40 miles each day for work. Rain or shine and sub freezing temperatures. These tires have always held up. While not on the sv, I have run these tires on the track on my street triple and they are fine as long as you pay attention to how hot they get. They can get slippery after a few sessions on the track. Not something you will ever have to worry about on the street or canyon carving. You just dont put a tire through the stress a track day does while riding your bike on the street. Add in these do better then track oriented tires in the cold and wet and last longer, its a no brainer to go with these.

The bionic chest pads are good added protection. How good you really dont know as there is no CE rating for chest pads. There is not a ton of foam in there to absorb impact, its mostly a hard shell which traditionally fair on the poorer side of the CE testing for elbows, shoulders, and back as they do not dissipate the force enough. Still it is way better then not having anything and will protect against hard object impact. Add the fact only taichi makes chest pads like this and you cant really complain. Dainese makes a chest pad, but its more for track use as its 1 giant piece instead of convenient 2 pieces for everyday use.
Yes, I recommend this product.
