The Ignition is a nicely styled, comfortable, and safe jacket. It flows air...but not like a mesh summer jacket. I had a mesh jacket...and low sided....the mesh disintegrated and I got rashed up. Dealing with heat is easier than dealing with road rash. So, I've opted for the safety of leather. In SoCal this is a 4 season jacket. This jacket is very comphy up to the mid 80's.... any higher temps and it gets a bit toasty. I will be researching, and buying some sort of cooling clothing for summer. I am an athletic 5'9" 168 pounder with a 42 inch chest and size 52 fits perfect. I also wish they had a hi viz version.

I love my new Shoei Neotec helmet....but it's a bit tight in the cheeks. The solution is the 31mm cheek pads. Stock pads are 35mm. The smaller pads make a huge difference in the comfort level of the helmet...for my head.

Did a slow speed slide out on a turn marked 15 mph. My left elbow got some nice road rash. The jacket fits fine...and I had the arm straps tight to secure the elbow pads on my elbow, yet the pads still slid off my elbow and did not protect my elbow road rash. The mesh offered little protection either. It wore clean through to my skin. I can just imagine what would happen in a higher speed fall. The jacket is very comfortable in warm weather for sure. But I'm not happy at all about it's protective abilities. Cool and comphy, or hot and safe?

I have had a pair of these since 2007, appx 65k miles, and they have held up very well. Personally I have found these boots to be extremely comfortable...walking,... or riding. I liked them so much i'm going to get another pair!
