Very well made, durable jacket. Feels like it will last many years. Fabric is quite stiff when new but is starting to loosen up. Decent under arm and back venting. There are only a few options out there when looking for a quality jacket that is waterproof without having to zip in a liner. It fits my needs perfectly.
Yes, I recommend this product.

REVIT Sand 2 Jacket Those looking for a jacket to wear on an around-the-world trip need look no further than the REVIT Sand 2. The jacket features adjustable VCS zippers that increase ventilation by 200 percent over the originalplus, it has a wind-catcher feature integrated into the zipper for even greater airflow. Sizing confusion

In the video, Ed is 6', 220lbs with a 44" chest and is wearing a large. The sizing chart puts him between a XL and a 2XL.
I'm 5'10", 175lbs with a 44" chest. What size do I need?

It says G spec has a reinforced sidewall for heavier bikes. R1200GS is aproximately 520lbs wet. Does it require G-spec?

Tourmaster Flex Series 3 Jacket Features Converts easily from a 600 denier Carbolex Jacket to an Armor- Link mesh jacket and vice-versa Water-resistant outer jacket incorporates waterproof zippered sleeve vents 360 Phoslite reflective piping and Tour Masters signature reflective rear triangle help increase nighttime visibility Soft, durable microfiber-lined collar and cuff Adjustable sleeve takeup straps to secure elbow armor and material Removable, CE approved armor at the elbows and shoulders with an articulated triple density back protector Tour Masters Z.O.Q. (Zip-Out Quilted) Liner features warming 100gm polyfill insulation Zippered hand pockets, internal pouch pocket and mobile media pocket Adjustable waist belts with TPR pulls help to fine tune the fit Includes a jacket/pant zipper attachment with the pant side included

Is this a three layer jacket?

If I read correctly, the outer jacket and be removed leaving a mesh type jacket including the armor and then there is the ZOQ layer. I'm looking for a jacket that will work from the 30s-90s, especially the 90s+ and need plenty of ventilation in the summer, but need the other layers in the cooler mornings and in the winter. Is there another Tourmaster jacket that would be better in meeting these needs either in regular or 3/4 length?
The Latitude is a one piece jacket. The liner does not come out. Venting is good for a waterproof shell. Closing the vents and adding a fleece under the jacket on cold mornings will be plenty.
Other jackets have more venting but require zipping in a waterproof liner for rain.
